Sandra: A regenerating pizza, cool.
Troy: Katy, what do you say we step outside, get some air.
Katy: ... Why do I get the feeling a nice relaxing walk is not what's on your mind...

Sandra: Guys... just don't destroy nothing will you?
Troy: I'll try.

Ledge: That was stupid, he still died, and you got hurt. We don't save our enemies, that's not heroism, that's stupidity. Now then for training.

Ledge walked over to the section on a wall, and typed in a code, a door sliding open showing a vault for an area filled with weapons.

Ledge: This is MY storage unit.

Ledge reached in and pulled out two swords, tossing one over to Dracarot, Ledge gripped his blade.

Ledge: I haven't had a pupil in a while, okay listen were gonna start with Butujustu, this will Definently build up arm strength, then we'll move onto more weapons you can use in combat, and exercises.

Sandra: Like you wouldn't b able to fix it. *sigh* I'll tell you what, I'll go with them. They won't be able to damage anything with me there.
Troy: Relax Milo, we'll take it easy.
Katy: Yeah, I heard that before.

Dracarot: Alright let's get started

Ledge demonstrated a downward slash, verticle slash, and side slash, and began reviewing said attacks with his new student.

Ledge: Okay so do you understand the basics now, if so we can practice basic sparring. I'll go easy, you can go all out I'm immortal.

*Sandra teleports Troy and Katy outside.*

*Sandra then teleports back inside as Troy and Katy get in position.*

Troy: Let's have some fun.
Katy: If you want a ass kicking, it's fine by me.

Milo: So Sandra, we got lots of time, you..been wanting to watch any movie?

Sandra: I don't know. *sigh* To be honest, I still can't help thinking about Dave... despite if he wants to see me or not, with this whole virus thing going on, I just can't help thinking of what if he's alone somewhere, maybe he needs help. Milo, do you still be like this with Lucy, or Marie. The more you try not to think about it... the more you actually do...

*Outside Katy and Troy are charging one another, both holding a orb of their retrospective powers in their right palms. They reach the central point where both attacks meet causing a explosion of fire and water to tower into the sky. The attack subsides revealing Katy and Troy standing across from one another, neither has yet to elemental shift.*

Katy: *smirk* Easy hey. *lol* At this rate, something will get destroyed before we're even past the warm up's.
Troy: Wanna skip then, get straight to the main show?
Katy: Oh, your really looking for some action are you?
Troy: Of course, I always am.
Katy: Alright then, if you want to get serious, lets do it.

*Troy, most excited to get started, quickly go's plasma form. Katy soon after takes on her water form.*

Troy: Yeah, now we're talkin.

Milo: *frowns* I see, well Like I said, I sent the Scouts out, if they get infected, then we can't go out. Well..I don't know, Lucy I loved her, but she couldn't deal with the life, people targeted her, and she didn't have any power to defend herself. I was making her suffer, Marie I feel anger, she just left me, she came onto me, pulled me out my depression, then up and left. But you..I feel I want to make a connection, you know it feels, to be unable have a relationship with someone, because of who you are, because of the danger you put them in.

Sandra: Yes... I hate that feeling... I want to think this is for the better, that this way Dave will remain safe. And what I said before when we was trapped together, I meant it. I... I don't know what to do... I feel, comfortable around you Milo, you can relate to what I've been though cause you've been there, and your a nice guy... however, I can't just switch off my feeling for Dave like switching off a light switch... we've been together the past 3 years, been through so many adventures, so many hard times, and good times. I miss him.

*Outside another large clash of powers is sen as Troy and Katy's match begins picking up intensity.*

Milo: I know you feel again, if you want I can give you some time alone, monitor the scouts make sure there okay, Lucy, she couldn't handle this life, I take her memories of it all, she went back to the station.

Sandra: No, Milo, please, stay with me. I don't want to be alone.

*Outside a huge explosion of flames is seen, Katy reforms outside the flames range, gathering and condensing water quickly, unleashing a massive water blast. Troy takes to the sky's to avoid, firing rapid fire fire blasts the rain down upon Katy, also pelleting the section of island they are on. Katy again reforms behind Troy, consuming him in a blast of water from point blank. *

Milo: Will do

Milo hugged Sandra.

Milo: I promise I won't leave you.

*Sandra hugs Milo back*

Sandra: Thank you Milo.

*Katy is now back on the defense, she notices Troy coming towards her and dodges to the side, as she's about to fire a attack, a pillar of flames erupts from under her.*

Dracarot: Alright here goes nothing *charges Ledge and begins with a downward than side slash*

*When the attack fades, Troy finds himself after losing track of Katy. He is suddenly blasted by a blast of water. He turns to see Katy on the ground back to normal.*

Katy: That's enough elemental shift for now. Come on Troy, lets battle.
Troy: Oh, a serious physical battle?
Katy: Why not? Besides, after fighting Manny's crew, it has me thinking we're putting to much reliance on power. The government can gt around elemental shifts, we know there are mutants that can get around the forms as well.

*Troy lands, returning to normal as well.*

Troy: We can get hurt this way? Although, Milo is here, so no need to bother William.
Katy: Didn't Sandra also find ways of using her powers to heal...
Troy: That's right, plus we have Ledge, his blood heals. Let's do it!!
Katy: ... Your gonna go all out are you?
Troy: Of course, like you wouldn't of.
Katy: Alright, lets do it then.

*Sandra and Milo is still sitting together, Milo still hugging her.*

Sandra: Life was so much simpler before wasn't it, when we was simply a group of mutants coming together to help one another train and practice our ability's. *sigh* Then the government... German... the fake members. Then we came together as SXM, taking on increasingly powerful villains, becoming increasing powerful ourselves, growing larger and larger with more members. Then the fighting among ourselves, separating... then later losing friends, allies...
Milo: Family...
Sandra: Then some new relationships developed, and others fell apart... all these powers, these gifts. They use to be fun, it was a adventure. Now, we constantly fight to survive.

*Sandra looked up at Milo.*

Sandra: One of the hardest things about Dave leaving... other then losing the man I loved, is the blow your faith takes. I thought, me and Dave was gonna be together, no matter what. I had faith that no matter what, our love would overcome in the end. However... it didn't... one thing I was certain would never happen... happened.

*Sandra seems to lower her head from Milo.*

Sandra: Huh, look at me, the supposedly all powerful phoenix... I must be such a disappointment to previous generations. I always wonder if I was stronger, if I had more will to just fight, without having to worry about circumstances. If I was more willing to use these powers given to me... could I have done things different, could I have protected Dave all those times I failed to... could I have avoided all this pain. What if... all this drama, this pain... is my fault... Am I the one who brought this all upon myself?
