Bad news it seems

I just saw in BBC that it seems that China is now the second world power over Japan.

Still it seems not to be on the web, hope it is a bad joke.

OK I just saw it again today, and what they said is that they expect for China to be the second economy & beat Japan soon.

Geez, BBC is losing credibility with more & more time! I was worried that this was true, so I looked at all websites & newspapers but no mention of this thing. Not even CNN did this (which are losing credibility soon), so BBC must be up to something presenting something as a breaking news, and then later saying it is just an estimation.

Japan is still a nicer place to live. I'd take Japan over China any day...though China does have wild panda bears and Dragon Ball mountains...

BBC lost its credibility a long time ago. (The same goes for shitty CNN.)

I personally like Japan and China both in their own ways, and yes power wise, resource wise and military-wise China is far in front of Japan, but economy wise it still isn't probably.

But I honestly never saw a problem with that, I don't understand why many people dislike China that much, there are definitely a lot of fake and silly rumors about China, but anyways I respect people's opinions.
I like China's way of functioning to be honest with you, however of course there are some very bad things such as death penalty...I believe nobody has rights to take somebodies life even if that man took many other lives, simply put him to the life-long prison and that's it, you get the same effect without killing him.

My thing with China, is that I am against their government & corporations.

I don't like how their companies send in products of terrible (...doubtful) quality and even do piracy and get away with it.

Yet people with their political correctness support China to become a world power justifying it because of their "history & culture." I really wouldn't have a problem with China becoming a world power, if they weren't corrput and a danger to their own people (their own medicines kill their population because of the awful quality).

I really hate it how the mexican government is trying to be the "boot licker" of China, just to get a bit of the money. You see, Mexico is butt hurt that they didn't support Japan when they were going to become a world power, so now they try to speak wonders of China.

Yeah, BBC & CNN are as "relaiable" as Faux News.

The rise of China (East) is inevitable. Personally, I would like to see somebody, anybody being a competition to USA supremacy.

Personally, I despise the lack of freedom in China and their inconsideration when it comes to pollution but when it comes to economy and general politics we need somebody to restore the balance that existed before the collapse of USSR.

First of all- that's why I said that Son Goku's statement is partially true.
But it's also a big stereotype. Although I would think twice before buying electronics from them I think that they are capable of making a reliable product. The thing that fascinated me about China (since I was a kid) is that they practically make everything. I look at the label and it says: Made in China. You go to the McDonalds and order a happy meal- and what is written on the label of the toy- made in China. But nobody wants to think about just how many things there are around him\her that are actually made in China. The countries like USA moved their industries there and in countries like Taiwan, India...and now since they face crisis they have a big problem returning them home. So basically when you wear your Nike just take a look where they're made. I'm against piracy on such large scales(although in some cases they are improving the product they're coping, just like what Serbian tailors did with the jeans, basically you wear a cheaper and better jeans than the original Calvin Klein), but also when I think about it- when I was a kid I couldn't afford Sega or NES so what did I buy- a Chinese NES ripoff, and that console is still actually working!
When I talked about pollution I did have pandas in mind(although they wont become extinct). But let me ask you something- do you think that all the other current economy powers aren't contributing to the general pollution problem. I don't know if USA is still first when it comes to that, but they were #1 polluter all these years. And when they were asked to cut down the pollution and sign a contract that everyone else had signed they refused, that's the same thing now with China. Humans are selfish. Should I remind you that Sandra Palin said- I don't see what's the big deal if polar bears disappear?

There is no escape from the fact we are all bland and boring. People try many things to escape from it...from grading academics to starting up religion...but in the end, the fact I can shot you and you die doesn't change. Human life is boring.
Partly this is the reason why art and fiction is such a wonder to us. Because it's a representation of the non stereotype. We can never truly become what we call fiction...from the point we can, it's no longer interesting to relate.

China rising economy is a fact.. but i do not think its going to be sustainable.. its going to be temporary... For example they are to depend on oil and they do not invest in clean alternative energies (and among other things)... the other countries are investing on it.. they do not have a powerfull economy now, but in the future they are going to surpass China, without a doubt

Countries in the European Union or even Japan are making the necessary changes to survive in the future.. China only thinks in the present.. who do you think is going to win??
