I hate Fox, dislike James Cameron &...

don't see Avatar as a great film.

But I just realized that Avatar was made by 20th Century Fox; and yet while I didn't liked the movie; it was actually good compared with the crap Wolverine & DBE were.

From what I see, Cameron had complete control; maybe Fox let him do that as Cameron is sure money after Titanic (the reason I hate Cameron, for making that romatic crapathon).

Now, while we have heard the version that Fox doesn't even have the rights of Dragon Ball in the first place, what these shady business men do is to release a franchise movie every certain time to not lose the rights. They did it with Wolverine by placing X-Men in the title in order not to lose the rigths on all X-Men as they would only keep Wolverine. Not even Disney with all their lawyers can get the X-Men franchise off from Fox because they had the rights before Disney bought all of Marvel, and so Fox will most likely never give the rights back, even if it means releasing some crappy & rushed movie once in a while.

So DB can suffer this fate too, Fox could make the next DB in a couple of years, make it a reboot or something like Dragon Ball Origins: Carey Fuller, and we would never get the rights off from them.

And James Cameron is a manga fan, despite wanting to make Avatar into a trilogy; he still wants to make a movie on Battle Angel Alita. So, while I dislike Cameron, I wonder; should he be in charge of Dragon Ball films while Fox owns the rigths?

Maybe if Cameron makes DB movies under Fox, they would give him freedom of do what he believes is right; and he would do more faithful adaptions.

Again, I really don't like to mix Cameron & DB but maybe he could be the only decent choice while Fox has the suppoused rights on DB. Some would say that he would never do DB as Alita is "deeper" but he was also a Spiderman fan which is not "deep" like "deep" people say; but he has also said he wanted to do a Mazinger live action film as he is a fan of it, so maybe he actually is a DB fan!

When I read this I immediately pictured some flashy Wolverine/DBE style flashy poster with Texas Battle saying Dragon Ball Origins: Carey Fuller. Now that would be a hilarious movie right there.

It's not going to happen, though. Even if they wanted a title like that I don't think they could use it since there's already a game series for the DS called Dragon Ball: Origins. It's based on the real Dragon Ball - the next one's going to have the Red Ribbon Army but ironically enough, a manga version of Carey Fuller will make an appearance in the game.

And DB Origins: Carey Fuller would be hilarious. Nobody would know who the heck it was as he was an original DBE character. Wait a minute, who the heck WAS Carey Fuller anyway?? Was he that lame school bully who came up with the name... brace yourself... "Geeko"?
