Neon Genesis Evangelion LAM

What do you guys think? Personally, Eva is one of those anime that ranks above everything else for me
Watched it first when I was 14, will always remain the best mecha anime. Loved everything about it. I don't know if they could truly adapt it, but I think it's at least easier to than stuff like Dragon Ball
My main concern is the stuff that's...shall we say more over the top. Especially that one scene in End Of Eva...
It would have to be rated R, and I don't know if they're willing to do that in the case of a LAM adaption of an animated series

Honestly, I have lost hope on any anime/manga/japanese videogame to film adaptation done by the west.

PLEASE NO.... Eva is one of my favourites!!! EVA LAM.... rated R?? I seriously doubt... if they proceed with that, its going to be for the kids, and ruin it

They cannot possibly under any possible conceived notion do this for anything under m.
PG is impossible with Eva without taking away all coherency.
And Eva is famous enough for them not to do that. Besides, Eva isn't a shounen like Dragon Ball
