Here are some quotes with an even more ridiculous claim about Animal Crossing (implying if an adult plays it, they're pedos using a kids-only game to get to children).

^ Justin the thing is that such stupid, shallow conclusions you will hear from the people who, even though they are interested in religion and morals, don't have the right knowledge about the thing they're speaking about. In their path towards wisdom they went in they wrong direction. Those people could be atheists or they could be religious people, it could happen to anyone.
So those who are saying such stuff about T.V. and other mass-media, certain music genres, etc. don't actually have the right knowledge to begin with, so their conclusions can't be right. They don't look at the concept of Hell from the right perspective. My point is- just because you'll hear some shallow stuff from the priests or see them do something they shouldn't be doing doesn't mean that the religion they're preaching about is wrong or ridiculous. It just means that they are corrupted, evil, stupid, weak, or just plain imperfect humans.

Even still, I have no real believes in god and after life anymore. As I got older, my believes just seem to... I don't know, just went away. The same way a child would grow out of bedtime stories, that's how it happened to me.

The though of there being a god, a after life, etc. It just became less and less likely over time.

I have nothing against people who do believe in religion (unless there people in the above video), nor do I have a problem with religion itself. It just, doesn't seem real to me anymore.

Most likely Akira gave him such name to represent how "bad-ass" he THINK he is.
He's always made fun of, always parodied whenever he does something arrogant, self-praising, money/fame-hungry etc...
The only situations where he is not parodied is when he actually helps someone.
But is an overall positive character, which implies that even "bad-ass" people can become good just as anyone else.

How can anyone think that something as positive and as righteousness&purity-preaching as Dragon Ball can promote satanism and such ridiculous stuff!?!? :S People are so quick to blame everything without even reading it fully...I am sometimes amazed by some people's shallowness.

Basically, these people are from a different generation, country, and region. Due to living in this environment decades before manga, the internet, etc. they don't have a clue about Japanese culture and what is/was acceptable at the time Dragon Ball was released. A lot of these *ahem* old people (which seem to only be Americans in this case based on my experiences) think the world thinks the same way they do when it comes to what is and isn't acceptable in every way, shape, and form.

Also, Dragon Ball, which besides Sailor Moon, made anime and manga popular here in the U.S. but wasn't introduced to its fullest extent until only a little over ten years ago. Before that, the most violent animated shows we had were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Heck, there are some younger people who think DBZ copied Sonic the Hedgehog, which is years younger than DBZ but was introduced before it. Basically, people still don't get it.

Yeah, basically most in Mexico believe that Japan is a satanic nation, this including from their "inhuman" language to their mythology.

For me, it is just that in Japan they view judeochristian mythology in the same way we see greco/roman mythology. Though there are christians and such in Japan.
