sorry dude, me and Liz both got silver. I had silver when I was a kid and I loved the 2nd movie, so Lugia is more nostalgic to me.

had trouble for the first time. I had to take advantage of my cousins other pokemon games and trade Haunter, have it evolve, train it enough to out speed Jolteon just to put him to sleep and own him with Fer's pure power attacks

I'd think you'd catch Mareep because it's a fucking awesome electrical sheep.

Anyway, in that case, use a water type (you at least have Gyarados) to thank it and keep using potions to heal

Alright, this is how I beat them

The order them were out were.
Umbreon
Espeon
Flareon
Jolteon
Vaporeon

I had Feraligatr at level 37 I think

Basically, start with him, then go for an all out fight with Umbreon.

In the next fight switch out and heal, take out Espeon with crunch (a couple of times should do it, you need to heal so you can tank the psychic attacks)

Flareon is easy as well. Switch out and heal then take him out with a couple of surfs

Jolteon out, put in either a haunter and use hypnosis and shadow punch/shadow ball (it depends on how many times he's used double team) or use Ampharos with any sure hit attack you can teach it through TMs. User Charge to increase your special defense on Amphy and you should easily beat Jolteon

Finally, Vaporeon should be a cake walk if you have Amphy. Simply use the same strategy. Use charge to increase your special defense and keep healing until you can easily take the surf attacks and it becomes a matter of attacking yourself.

Final note, charge also increases the power of the next electrical move you use, but it's pointless on Jolteon because of volt absorb

I really don't want to start over after catching 'em all, including Celebi in the original version and getting a bunch of them up to LVL 100. Of course I started using Game Shark when I was about done with the game to get Celebi and a few others...and to get my mains to 100 so I could compete in Pokemon Stadium 2.

i just caught lugia yesterday now im onto the leagues

now I can't stop watching FMA and reading Mirai Nikki...I wanna finish the game but I just can't get myself to do it ;~;

If you use Lugia in the league you are weak and small time and a 7 year old

No self respecting person uses legendary pokemon in the leagues

I remember for the first three Pokemon games I'd get all three starter Pokemon through a long and tedious process...with the help of my brother. I'd start my game, he'd start his. I'd go and catch a Hoothoot or Pidgeotto or whatever the weakest Pokemon is. I'd go to the trade center and get my brother's starter for the level 5 generic bird Pokemon. Me or my brother would then start a new game, wash, rinse, and repeat until I had 6 of the starter Pokemon (two of each). Yeah, it took awhile, but it was worth it, darn it!
