Marvel vs Capcom 3 announced and more...

If you've been keeping up with video game news I'm sure you know about this already.
If you look closely, there are sillhouettes of other characters not officially revealed (Captain America, Magneto, Frank West from Dead Rising, etc).
I'm just hoping Megaman, Viewtiful Joe, Spider-Man, and any Eddie Brock character (Venom or Anti-Venom) is in.
Also, if you played/liked Bionic Commando: Rearmed, you'll like this. I know I did...it's just too bad Grin reformed as Might and Delight a little too late to be the ones to produce this game. My only question is why did they put in the jump button and will the composer of the remixed music from the previous game be able to outdo himself with an original score?

I never played a Marvel VS Capcom game.
What type of game are they, old school fighters or free roam fighters?
I'm guessing old school fighters much like the Mortal Kombat series right?

It's a tag-team/support-based fighter. It has a lot of elements from the Street Fighter series in it. Here's gameplay from Marvel vs Capcom 2 if you want to get an idea of how it'll play.

This time around it's made by the people who made Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for the Gamecube, I mean Wii so expect some similarities with that game as well.

Well, sadly I still yet to own a next gen system...
Still, these games look pretty good, I haven't played old style games lik that since the N64 days. I may pick up a PS2 copy of MvsC 2 sometime, and if I like it, I'll go from there.

What!? HAHAAA!!! Yay! They're finally making it!
I thought that when EA got their greedy little hands on the Marvel licence, then that was it, but here we go! Morrigan looked purdy in the trailer, I hope we have Lilith as well...!

EA has the Marvel license? I could have sworn that was the greedy Activision. Actually I know for a fact that Activision publishes Spider-Man games and the Wolverine game was Published by them as well.

Yeah, in 2004, EA took the Marvel licence and made that crap-tacular "Marvel Nemesis" game. They even made Marvel do comics based on the shitty EA original characters. Thankfully though, Marvel basically said "F**k off" and that was that. ^___^
