Heroes Uprising Part 11

Milo: MAYBE THEY WHERE RIGHT!? look everything we've done so far, were still hated, we've saved this god damn planet more times then the original X men have, and we have more enemies, then I have powers. The Hunters, The Virus, Zulan's building an army,were missing members, The Russians want to goto war with us!? Plus all the pilots who got kidnapped? Something big is going on, and we need to try and stop that.

"Milo sighed, turning to James, clearly upset. "

Milo: Fine then go. I'll wake Rachel up, after you leave. James, why are you doing this? We both read Siya's mind, Harry, Filipe, you, Ledge, all of us die..from this virus, you know sending Harry out there is foolish, I'm trying to keep us all alive, you have to understand I care about everyone here, I can't willingly send them to their deaths!

James: And I still have some goddamn faith in my friends! If Filipe said that he wasn't in contact with the virus then I trust him. Besides, if we ask Rachel in the first place things aren't going to go as badly as we think. We can just make sure...one way, or another!

Harry: I need Rachel to tell me where he is, or then I WILL be in danger. If I can know his position, I'll be fine.

Milo: I have faith, but against facts, well they came first, not some faith. But fine, if anyone dies, well then, there be hell to pay.

"Milo released Rachel from her telepathically induced coma"

Milo: Rachel wake up, Harry still needs the location of your boyfriend. I think I need to lay down.

Sandra: Harry, promise me something. Stay alive out there alright.

Rachel: And you need to learn some goddamn manners Milo! I don't give a shit about what you think is best for me. I've had enough of that from mom alright? And this isn't some teenage drama, it's fact...anyway

Rachel: He's in Everest by the looks of the scenery...
Harry: Thanks Rachel...and don't worry Sandra. I move to fast for some little virus to catch me...also, James, turn the communications back on, and I'll contact you as soon as I've got him with me. After that you can tell me my next move


"James sighs"

James: Milo, we need to start warning people about this. Keeping it under wraps is all fine and dandy...but bodies are going to start piling up and we can't let that happen

Milo: Warning people about the future? We have to keep this under wraps, the Russians hate us, the Us Army is pissed at mutants as is, once they learn the virus if weakening us, they'll turn it into weapon, they'll wipe us out, just like in Siya's future, if things continue we may need to find a way to stall the Government, we might need to take down one of their key locations such as the pentagon...

Sandra: But, such a attack will start the war again. Not even Carl can cover for us if we did something like that.

Milo: Well, then, we can't keep running, and fighting. We can't let them push is around, it isn't right, what the hell did we do, to deserve such treatment?

Sandra: True things isn't the best, but at least we're not hunted down like rats like before the bill was passed.

Milo: I guess your right, no need to make a hasty action, but I still say we disable the Pentagon, blame someone-else perhaps a clone?

Sandra: Th virus cause loss of control before death right? Maybe a lose clone might work.

Milo: Exactly, a clone with magnetism, or Technopathy.

Sandra: At worst, we'd have to simply make a public apology afterward.

Milo: Right, or blame said clone, and get rid of it. I hope Harry, and Filipe are okay, wanna head back to the room baby?

Sandra: Sure, lets head back.

*As Troy again appears to pick up on the attack, Katy takes control of Troy's body forcing him to lave himself wide open, allowing Katy to move in the attack.*

Milo teleports himself, and Sandra to the lab area where William, Virus, and Nate are.

Milo:Guys you need to hurry, if you want, I can send you out to an area with the clones, but that's risky, it might expose you two the virus.

Virus: We already have two cases of the virus right in this very building. The girl, she has it worse then your other friend. She might die if we don't cure this.
Sandra: Well, we kinda knew that ourselves.
Virus: Don't get smart, Phoenix.

Milo: Virus, don't talk to my girl like that. She can say whatever the hell she wants.

Virus: Very well then, Fusion.
Sandra: I thought you'd be harder to get along with?
Virus: Well Phoenix, if you hadn't noticed, we don't exactly have time to waste fighting among ourselves. Anyway, if William does decide to check out more cases of the virus, we'll let you know.

*Outside we see Katy preparing the water jet, as Troy also go's for a oldie attack of his own.*

Troy: When's the last time we used these moves?
Katy: A while ago.

*Both attacks are let go as a powerful, super hot flame tunnel clashes with the powerful water jet.*

William: I don't exactly have a plan here. I just keep looking into it. The virus works by identifying the x-gene or whatever Harry called it, that makes us mutants, and then does what a virus does. It propagates. I theorize, that if worst comes to show, we just remove the powers of any infected individual and see if that works. of course, to do that we have to go near them and that'll cause us to get infected. I think I can make myself immune, but I can't be sure. Virus should be immune himself though.
Milo: How so?
William: The virus makes us loose control of our powers, but if it can't act we wont loose control. Virus's immunity is passive and always working. He's always immune to any virus that tries to enter his system.

"Meanwhile, Harry has arrived at Everest"

Harry: Well, this shouldn't take more than a few...

"He suddenly hears sounds of trucks. He walks over to an edge and see several tanks and military tents, with a symbol he knows to well"

Harry: No fucking way...the red room...here?! They must be after Icy...I gotta find him before it's to late...

Milo: Right, we can't just sit around, doing nothing, innocent people are out there, dying, the Russians, and the US army hate us. The last thing we need is a war, while most of us will die if were exposed to the virus. As for removing the abilities I suppoese I can do that, but I might be exposed before that, and if I loose control, or any power-house...then..oh shit..
Nate: What?
Milo: We have to round up all the power-houses, any of them exposed, were gonna be worrying about a LOT more then a virus, Sandra and me are here, but what about the Son, Zulan, Shawkun,
Nate: Wait you trapped Shawkun in another body
Milo: Right, and if we go after Zulan, his new security team is dangerous, they have an extremely powerful ability negator.
Nate: And our situation just keeps getting worse. But..if Virus is immune to the Virus, does that mean he's the only one who can go get the power-houses...

Back in Russia, the agents have surrounded the area, and the Government official from earlier is speaking.

Official: And it is time no longer to stand against the mutant race, for we have harnessed a new weapon against their kind, known as the Legacy Virus, in honor of the American Hero Sindus Blaze! The era of mutants shall end, HUMANITY NOW AND FOREVERMORE!

The people cheered, and so did soldiers in the Russian Army, all armed with tranquilizer guns.

Virus: That is true. No virus has ever been able to enter my system, and I instantly adopts to anything new. As for getting the powr houses, maybe. However, I heard of Zulan and Shawkun. They have telepathy, do they not? They'll know what I'm up to.
Sandra: Shawkun used to, doesn't anymore.

"Meanwhile, back in Genosha, Marie is walking alone in the streets obviously pissed off, when she suddenly runs into Anna"

Anna: Marie
Marie: Oh...hey...
Anna: What are you doing here?
Marie: Nothing...nothing really why?
Anna: Then how about you come with me? I need some help
Marie: What wha

"Anna grabs her and then head off the both of them"

Marie: What do you need?
Anna: Some help dealing with that clone of Isabel Iliria made. She's been pretty down since Yama got sick, and I convinced James to let her stay at my place until Yama's better.
Marie: Iliria's...look I don't really feel l-
Anna: Filipe's told me about it. I don't really care if it's just is suspicions or if it's true, but either way, I need help and you're not doing anything, so come on

William: If Virus's powers manage to do this, I can set up a passive defense system based on what I already know from the Virus easily. If my theory holds out, then I'm immune as well...if not, then Virus dies. It's your call Milo
James: We also need to contact that girl, Namini, and Amber

Milo: Wait if your ability is control over viruses, can't you harness the Legacy Virus as a weapon against Zulan, killing him despite his immortality? Also Me, and James can create telepathic blocks around you, so they can't read yoru thoughts, the main issue at this point is Zulan.

"Turns to James"

Milo: We can't risk Virus's life like that, well we might have too, Zulan has to be stopped, as for Amber, and Namini. Amber's probably too busy, contact Namini, tell her to set up a defense around her island, we need to stay somewhat separated, if the Government attacks, it will be bad if were all in one spot.

Virus: In theory, yes. If I can understand it to that degree, then I would be able to stop it as well.
