E3 Major Unveilings
Let's see, for Nintendo (the obvious winner by far this year) we were shown:
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword:
Donkey Kong Country Returns (from Retro Studios-makers of the Metroid Prime Trilogy):
Goldeneye 007 N64 version reimagining:
Kirby's Epic Yarn:
Epic Mickey:
Oh and then there's this little thing called the 3DS with it's probable launch game being Kid Icarus:
Also, remastered versions of Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64 were announced for the 3DS.
Also announced are NES games for the 3DS:
http://ds.ign.com/articles/109/1098405p1.html
Oh, and there will also be a Resident Evil, MGS, etc developed for the 3DS.
Sony showcased more of Killzone 3 and announced that it would utilize an option for motion controls with the Move and will also be available in 3D.
Infamous 2's trailer was shown:
I didn't like the first game. Cole was cliche in the first game and if this is him, it's a welcome change. If it's not Cole, then I'm guessing he's the Beast (Cole's future nemesis).
Sorcery for the Move looked pretty awesome:
Oh and then there's Heroes on the Move starring Jak, Ratchet, Sly Cooper, and their respective sidekicks.
And finally there was Twisted Metal:
Then there was Microsoft. I'd say they were on par with how bad Nintendo's conference was in 2008. All they showed of relevance were three games we already know about. Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, and Fable 3. The rest I believe was the Kinect, formerly known as Project Natal and various shovelware games.
My favorite was definitely Zelda: Skyward Sword. I know it wasn't smooth at the show, but I'm confident the 1-1 motion will be fleshed out by the time it is released. As for the art direction. I love it! It's just the kind of look I was hoping they'd go for ever since I played the Oracle games and Link to the Past.
Here are more images from that game:

Zelda looks but I hope the control are alot easier to control when the game comes out Also I expected the game to be more maturer like twilight princess than like Ocarina of time.

I read a report of someone on IGN who played the Zelda demo. They said it ran as smoothly as advertised. The problems they had on stage really were because of infrared and/or wireless interference.

Re: E3 Major Unveilings
I never played Zelda that much but I always liked how it looks and the style of the gameplay, and this new one looks really nice and fluent.
I saw Killzone on E3 live, and man I was really impressed by the graphics dynamics and many other things.

Re: E3 Major Unveilings
Yeah, I'm glad they're implementing the Move with Killzone 3 for faster aiming. They better implement it for more of their shooters.
The jetpacks were pretty cool as well.

^ A long Process I basically get the embedding code off of Youtube and then insert it into Video BBCode and the Presto.
There's more I just can't explain it properly now I'll think of how to explain it to you better later.

Re: E3 Major Unveilings
I think I figured it out. I went to edit on your post to check the code (I didn't actually edit it,). I noticed it's like 720,440 instead of 425,350.
Anyway, here's the rundown for Skyward Sword's story (which explains why Link jumps off a cliff at the end of the trailer):
Oh, and the art is inspired by impressionist artists like Monet.
Anyway, here's the rundown for Skyward Sword's story (which explains why Link jumps off a cliff at the end of the trailer):
- Spoiler:
The story supposedly takes place about 100 years before Ocarina of Time. Link is from a place called Skyloft, which is a bunch of islands floating above the clouds high above the actual land. There hasn't been any information relating Skyloft to the City in the Sky from Twilight Princess. Anyway, Link and everyone else from Skyloft have no idea that there is a ground below the clouds and apparently no knowledge of the existence of Hyrule. Anyway, something happens with Bokoblins and other monsters attacking Skyloft and/or Hyrule. Link ends up going to Hyrule to save it. Apparently the Skyward Sword, which obviously later becomes the Master Sword, is what keeps him from splattering when he lands on the ground below the clouds. In the gameplay demo shown, the forest area Link is fighting in is part of Skyloft, so it's not some barebones depressing city like the City in the Sky was in Twilight Princess.
