Mortal Kombat: Deception...

How... you you preform a fatality in Kombat mode???

I know how to switch the fighting style to fatality, but what do I press to actually preform one?

(fyi, my game has no booklet, and the moves lists show nothing for fatality.)

Yay! You got it! How are you finding it? And what did you think of the FMV intro with Raiden kicking the Deadly Alliance's ass!?

Here, I found you a list of fatalities. For the speed, just do it casually. If that doesn't work, just keep trying, but a little faster with each try.

The intro is awesome. Raiden fighting Shag Shung and Quan Chi (?spelling) was awesome, the the 3 forced to make a combined attack at the end, that was sweet.

As for game play, I'm not all to use to it yet. I'm much more use to MK4. I could jump around, lay quick 5-6 combo's, jump away, finish move, etc rapidly as hell on that game. And my buddy is better again. I suppose I'll get the hand of this games combo's in time.



Now with that aside... what's up with zombie Liu Kang? And where's everyone from MK4 (Sonya, Johny Cage, Jax, etc)? Are they all dead or what?

And is it only me... or does Quan Chi in Deception remind you of Kratos from God Of War.

Yes the intro is one of my all time favorite FMV intros of all time. If only Midway coulda done that for character endings like in MK4... As for the gameplay, yup, its very different huh? I know a 12 hit combo with Shujinko! ^___^ Give it some time and you'll get the hang of it eventually!

As for Zombie Liu Kang, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi double teamed both him and Shao Khan in Deadly Alliance's intro and killed them both. Dark Raiden then reanimated Liu's corpse and sent it around killing people. And Deception's character roster took a severe blow by ditching almost all the characters from Deadly Alliance. Sadly, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax, Kitana and Kung Lao were all killed by the Deadly Alliance and Baraka's Tarkatan hordes. Watch the intro again and you'll notice a few of their bodies on the floor near the steps as the camera pans into the large room were Raiden is fighting.

Alright, I'll watch for that next time.

You know, Liu Kang is my favorite so far in Deception for the exact same reason as in MK4. All his combo's are easy, and similar. Yet his attacks are effective.

I can't cheap with Liu Kang in Deception though. Oh, you give me Kang in MK4... oh oh you better be good at counter attacking/blocking XD. I can main with 2 attacks on MK4, and if I get you back by the wall, I can max combo you to death easily. Liu Kang in MK4 is a really cheap character.

Only character cheaper then Liu Kang was Quan Chi. You only need to know 1 attack with him, and he's instantly cheap.

I'm was also bad ass with Sub Zero on MK4. He's not really cheap, he just plain kicks major ass.
