And i totally agree.. GT was very bad... the characters designs, the fights, the powerlevels, the OST..almost everything!!
I still remember Vegeta being defeated by normal 17 And Goku in SSJ kid form gave to super 17 a powerfull punch that threw him around the whole planet I know Goku is stronger than vegeta, BUT common

I'm Goku's biggest fanboy, but even I had to admit it was all about him in GT. Grand Tour?? Pah! It really stands for Goku Time.

In one scene, the others are getting ready to fight the bad guy and JUST as they started appraoching the villain, Goku basically says;

"Piss off, this is my show! MINE!!! Only I may take out the bad guys in this show!"

Well, no he didn't say that, but he said only he could take out the bad guy. Any character other than Goku in DBGT existed only for the following;

- Look on in awe during the battles.
- Comment on how strong Goku is.
- Get the crap kicked out of them.
- Rinse and repeat.

And the inconsistency was through the roof; Base Kid Goku easily took out opponent's that SSJ4 Goku couldn't handle. Base Kid Goku beats Omega Shenron after an extremely long tiresome battle....... then gets floored by one punch from Krillin. KRILLIN. Goku can't beat Super 17 and says he can't fire any more Kamehameha's, but when 18 shows up and rips her shirt off he's able to fire off at least 3 more... oh wait, explanation there. Vegeta can't beat normal Android 17 for some reason! Also, Base Kid Goku beat both Frieza and Cell.

And it treated other characters with no respect; Yamcha, Tien and Chaozu get 10 second long non speaking cameos, Piccolo shows up for about 2 episodes, gets owned by Bebi Gohan and then dies. What a piece of s**t. Thats just one of the reasons it couldn't hold a candle to Z. In Z, the characters often went off to do their own thing throughout the saga and we saw it. In GT, we saw what Goku did and the others sometimes turned up.

Yep, GT failed in so many ways.

Nikku, basically they took the Red Ribbon Army concept of Goku and applied it to everything.

It was fun in the RR saga because it was supposed to be comical. It worked in the Piccolo and Piccolo Jr. storylines because the idea of Goku winning a serious fight was still novel at the time, but the story moved on from that and Goku ended up needing help (or getting help whether he needed it or not) to beat other main baddies.

When they got to GT it was just facepalm-worthy. All those characters built up during Z and even Uub for GT, all those characters that Goku was training to be able to stand up for themselves just became tools to a) show how strong Goku was and b) to give Goku that extra boost to stand up to the main baddie a la Broli's plot recycled.

You'd think they would at least make Uub important especially after he became one with Buu, but all he did was prove to be a minor distraction. SSJ4 Vegeta? Yet another power-up tool for Goku.

Goku is the most important character and without him, the story isn't as interesting in my opinion. However, making the story all about him makes things become pretty repetitive and boring.

Dragon Ball Kai "artists" just retraced old artwork and upped the animation. Any off proportions are from Z and they didn't bother to fix in Kai.

That's not what we were talking about. We were talking about the intros and drawn-from-scratch promotional images.

I assume this is the same group that animated the special as well.
