Look at how sad their excuses are for the change. I also love that the guy they obviously designed Dante after is in the video as well.

I love how it took them a year just to redesign Dante. One year later and it's just Tameem when he was a kid.

Seriously, though. I have to wonder whose idea it was to make Tameem Dante. Was it the world's biggest suck-up artist or was it Tameem himself.

I'd like to write up a mock-dialogue of what went on, but right now I'm too exhausted to come up with any zingers. If anyone else would like to, feel free to take the reigns. I guess a good starting point would be Ninja Theory thinking Dante's personality was at its best in DMC2.

Wow. Wow... Wowowow.... WOW!!! Wow... WOWZERS. This guy just ensured I *never* even touch a Ninja Theory game ever now. Before I had a PS3, I saw that Heavenly Sword game and thought "Huh... that looks quite interesting" but now when I see it, I'm gonna think "Oh look, its the game made by the people who are royally butt-f**king the Devil May Cry series!"

Seriously, when you design... THAT *points to new "Dante" then you shouldn't talk crap about the characters. Especially when you basically walk into work one day and say something along the lines of "Ya know what guys? Screw actually designing this non cool dude anymore, just put me in the game and call me Dante!"

My thoughts exactly.

They're also the people who made Enslaved: Oddessey to the West which is a western spin on Journey to the West. Instead of Sun Wukong, it stars an American guy called Monkey and his girlfriend who looks exactly like the Heavenly Sword girl. I haven't played the demo, but from what I've heard, it's surprisingly good.

Anyway, I've found that Capcom's had some leadership issues with decision making. I heard they got a new CEO or something to that effect and basically they've been pushing even harder to westernize their franchises to appeal more to western audiences.

I find that very odd because that tends to take away the originality of their games. Have you played Lost Planet 2? Total bore-fest. Heck, look at Resident Evil 5 - they're trying to emulate Paul W.S. Anderson's terrible RE movies. Now they want Dead Rising to become their 'main' zombie franchise.

I'm just glad it hasn't effected their fighters.

Ahahahaha, oh wow, that guy's statements are made of pure BS. It's shocking that someone has so little shame that he's prepared to publicly say such stupid things just to defend his product. Does he really believe that those of you who are fans of this game will easily agree with the stuff he said?
That "walked into a bar" joke of an argument made me laugh. I liked the way fans replied, it just shows how easily you can destroy somebody's ignorant "argument". I would just like to add that they shouldn't be the ones who talk about the fashion sense, I would be rather embarrassed if I would have to walk into a bar wearing that new outfit.
