I was just about to post this, lol! It says he's restarting Dragon Ball...odd. I hope he's not going to undo all the canon he created with a reboot. I'm thinking something along the lines of Dragon Ball Online would be better.

A Dragon Ball Online Manga series would be awesome, maybe we'll even get a new Anime Series called DBO.

I doubt they'd call it Dragon Ball Online, though. They might just stick with Dragon Ball.

It's also a chance for Toriyama to do things his way. I doubt he has to answer to anyone at this point (the man could start his own magazine if he wanted too).

Another thing that I'd find interesting would be rebooting it, only changing a LOT of things (the powerlevels being overall lower, the humans having a bigger spotlight)

But then again, that can be done with a continuation

lowering the power levels sounds amazing, the ridiculousness they were getting to twards the end made me lose interest.

But no matter what he does, it should be super-interesting and I'm lookin' forward to it.

I was really enjoying watching DBZ Kai on TV (but now we lost that channel so I can't anymore T_T), but it kinda just made me miss Dragon Ball. When I'm done watching soul Eater, I might re-watch good ol' Dragon Ball

Yet there still producing Superman comics for some reason despite just how powerful he is. And nobody go into the Superman vs. Goku debate, because they would never fight each other, except for some charity tournament which would probably make enough money to find every disease known to man and solving world hunger.

I think it has more to do with the choreography. Back in Dragon Ball, there were more martial arts moves involved, more technical fighting stances, if you will. There were more goofy attacks and such.

Then in DBZ there are lots of energy beams, explosions, etc. The actual hand-to-hand fighting involved a lot of scuffles made up of two or three frames rapidly repeating.

And yet we bought them anyway, let's face it we're suckers for DBZ (so long as it's produced by the master Akira Toriyama) and no matter how ridiculous the fights scene, you can't deny that's only half the manga anyway (figuratively not literally) there's also the characters and their stories which can be quite humorous or just fun to read.

My opinion on this matter would be slightly different than usual.

I am a huge fan of Dragon Ball manga and anime(and games as well) and naturally, to me, world of DB is already perfect the way it is, therefore I'm not too much welcoming any new DB stuff(excluding video games) as there is a high possibility that such new thing will simply be worse than DB/Z I know and love, or spoil the storyline or characters in some way.

BUT since the original creator Akira Toriyama is involved than I hope it will at least be decent, which is really the most important thing...or in other words - as long as its DB/Z at its core(same point, same messages, same art-style) it is all acceptable I mean just remember DBE, when you think of it, everything else looks so good
PLUS DB never had any updates when it comes to the official DB MANGA, so this might actually be interesting to see.

So all in all, yes I am excited but not too much.

If Toriyama does continue it, I hope his editors are as good as his previous three - 'cause let's face it, if it weren't for them the story just wouldn't be the same - like if it weren't for his first editor the main villains of the Androids arc would have been #19 and #20 instead of Cell.

And that's why I don't like Superman. I prefer Batman. It's boring when they're too powerful!

When it all comes down to it, I really doubt this is going to happen. I've yet to see an actual source for an official announcement of any sort.

That's not it. That's just some mini/chibi Dragon Ball series being done for this sub-manga thingy. It's being written and illustrated by the guy who did the manga version of Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!

Otherwise, nothing to see here. I mean if it's not done by Toriyama, why bother? That's juts my opinion, though.

HEY Yo Son Goku and his friends return was actually pretty damn good, the fighting may have not been as epic, but it stook to the dbz plot line and had actual comedy unlike DBE. Besides Vegeta's face when he realized Gure was his brothers wife was priceless, as was his bowing, anything that gets the Prince of all Jerk Wads to bow for a reasonable reason is noteworthy!
