He then hopes to show people that they shouldn't fear evolved humans which would result in a more peaceful world and end the war. In general he is a very easy guy to get along with and is friendly in nature. His political self can be manipulative, as all politicians are, trying to take advantage of all openings to reach his goal.

Powers:
-Wings: Carl possesses the superhuman ability to fly by means of his natural wings, which span 16 feet sixteen feet from wingtip to wingtip. Fully feathered like a bird's, the wings have a very flexible skeletal structure, enabling him to press them to the back of his torso and legs with only the slightest bulge visible under his clothing. Carl flies by flapping his wings, as a bird does. Carl's normal cruising speed averages around 70 miles per hour (112 kph), though he is capable of diving swoops that reach up to 180 miles per hour (290 kph). He can fly at 150 miles per hour (240 kph) without the help of a tail wind for up to half an hour at a time before tiring to an appreciable degree. Though he generally flies beneath the height of the clouds ([6,500 feet)(1981 meters)he can reach a height of 10,000 feet (3000 meters)with little effort.

-Aerial Adaptation: Carl's entire anatomy is naturally adapted to flying. His bones are hollow like a birds, making him weigh far less than usual for a man of his build. His body is virtually devoid of fat and possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than an ordinary human does. His eyes are specially adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would hurt the average human eye. He possesses a special membrane in his respiratory system enabling him to extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or altitudes.

-Peak Human Strength: Due to his body's natural mutation, Carl possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to him in body weight and can lift about 500 lbs.

-Superhuman Stamina: Carl's musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. His physical stamina while in flight is considerably greater. Carl can fly non-stop under his own power for a maximum of approximately twelve hours.

-Regenerative Healing Factor: Carl possesses an accelerated healing factor that enables him to repair damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. He can completely recover from non-fatal injuries such as slash and punctures within a matter of hours and injuries as severe as broken bones within a few days. This ability extends to being transferred by blood, thus he can heal others who come into contact with his blood, provided they have the same blood type.

Bio: Carl comes from a long line of family members who had been involved with government matters. Mostly this family higher government official's only out ranked by president status. The last Johnson to reach a president status was back in the 1960's, Carl hopes to bring his family's name back up the ranks into the president, or vice president position.

Unlike his ancestor before him, Carl has a good reason to want such a high status, he wants to be able to help the increasing mutant popularity, and try to get humans and mutants to live together in peace. As a mutant himself, he finds it unfair that mutants are only looked upon as threats or freaks. Carl is also the first in his family to be a mutant, there are no mutation in his parents. This made things difficult for Carl as his parents had often kept him hidden, for safety sake. Despite working from the shadows, Carl still did all he could for the mutant community.

Carl has been around since the days of the Terror Squad, being one of their kidnap victims. After meeting SXM he tried his best to keep them on good terms with the American government, and called upon their help in situations. He ran for president several times, either failing to rigged elections (Jorgan) or a unlucky series of events (the civil wars). Even in the worst of times Carl ran for election. With the world government now brought down and Milo in absolute control, Carl's current whereabouts are unclear. After the fall of the X Lords however he resumed his political desires, and ran for President and won after President Ryan was removed due to being murdered by All the Evils of This World.

Many Paranoid reporters blamed Carl for the ATEOW incident believing he used the tragedy for his presidency, and has more death threats then Obama. Milo often helped him during times of trouble such as during the time when the Council of Gods led by Zeus attempted to usurp control over humanity, and he even called in Felicia a former Dark Avenger to aid the group. Milo also revealed to him that he would be assassinated via a precognitive painting, and often had potential candidates for his assassination searched. His loyalties were shown in Division when Milo stripped he world of there nuclear weapons, and he defended peace, and coerced Milo into returning the weapons, and formed an alliance with Russia after a meeting with Afansas.

Leading the country he was kidnapped by Beatrice, and part of the games along with others including Marie, and Holst. He was stripped of his powers for different portions of the game and along with Holst helped win the game, and conquer his greatest fear from his past. The country fell during the Dark Month, and rise of Zadkiel. He did his best to aid working with the Shadow X Men to aid the earth during this dark time, and used this tragedy. However World War 4 started soon after that, and he recruited Milo into the army as the Armies first WMOD. He had an all mutant unit assembled known as X Corps, and reluctantly supported Milo's extremist methods to end the war early. Months later when Milo lost his powers the Brotherhood led by Velon assaulted Washington D.C, and he was tortured for not giving in to Velon's demands.

Carl was rescued by Sandra, and healed on Genosha. After being rejuvenated, he remained in the Panic Room while the counter attack in D.C took place.
