New Dragonball manga confirmed!!!!

It's called Dragonball SD and is done by the same guy who did the Yo Son Goku and his friends return special.

This was announced awhile ago. Something I noticed, though:
They changed the spelling for Goku to Gokuu. I wonder if this was to get readers to put an emphasis on the correct pronunciation where you put the emphasis on the second syllable.

No, it's because the correct transliteration of the characters used to write his name is Gokuu. If it were Goku, it wouldn't be pronounced the way it is.

Well I got some time yesterday evening and I read that first chapter. Its nice! Yes story is changed and all that, but hey that's why its called spin-off right? important thing is that its holding onto DB world, DB pint and DB characters.
Also the art-style looks good, its similar to Akira Toriyama's style(which is very important to me).
The first few pictures on the 11th page made me
So it looks nice and entertaining and most importantly - it simply looks like Dragon Ball.

Unlike DBE this still sticks to the original source of material. I like those high quality pictures and it is just very funny xD
