What was holding him back was he didn't want to murder all his friends and family Buu absorbed, he was trying to find an alternative to deal with Buu and free their friends, he was trying to force Buu to absorb him which was his plan from the beginning.

Gogeta didn't have to deal with that, and he had a time limit.

then he let down the energy barrier wich allowed the absorbtion to seperate them.In a way this was an advantage and an dis advantage.Advantage is that they would no longer be stuck together for all etrenity until death.Disadvantage they shrunk back down to size and power levels were back to normal.

then whoever gogeta fights he embarrasses them , not like vegito but in terms of power. Super Jenempa had nothing on gogeta just like Omega Shenron had nothing on gogetassj4. and the fact that he did have a time limit forced him to finish the fights alot quicker than any of vegitos fights. Super buu being the only one in the galaxy to barely give him a challenge so he wanted to make the fight last and savored the moment.

I always wondered if Vegito could of gone SS3 if he wanted. Goku knew it, Goku was a part of Vegito, and Vegito sure as hell had the power to handle it. Then again he was making a mockery out of Super Buu in SSJ... or was it SSJ2? Can't remember. lol Still, it wasn't needed.

he could not have, he can only go to levels of super saiyan that vegeta's been able to go to, as in vegito, vegeta is the dominant mind.Cause mind must be in sync with body. And if goku were the dominant mind of vegito he would still be powerful but not as powerful as the original vegito.

you do know who galen marek is right? he had a clone who became more powerful than him, galen marek (starkiller) almost killed vader and darth Sidious if were not for master kota the two would be dead. Revan was indeed a great force wielder but i think he would get a title for swordsmanship than a title for powerful force wielder. but none of theese guys can hold a candle to darth bane, he was as close as you could get to being a whill(original force wielders or the first) the jedi had a prophecy that one would bring balance to the force well darth bane was the sith version of this.
