...Andrew Garfield seems to like portraying the Webslinger as a homo... c'mon just look at those poses in the first couple of pictures!
Also, the suit sucks. Where's the belt? Why the different design? Why so much emphasis on his crotch??

I read Nikku's post, and I'm like "It can't be that bad...."
I look at the pictures, it's that bad. Why? Why the grey crotch?Is it moldy down there or something? and those eye holes are pathetic, they're gonna fix them and put like black mesh over them, right? I always thought the spiderman suit from the Tobey Mcguire movies were perfect. This must be how tobey feels about the whole thing:

I'm not one to defend movies like this, but I'm sure the eyes are going to look like they do in these pictures. The sunglasses eyes things are obviously placeholders. You're either not going to see it because his head will be moving fast and/or facing away from the camera or they're going to CGI the eyes.
If you want a better picture of what the costume will look like, just look at the poster. I'm sure they're going to use a color filter to darken everything so that it looks like the poster.
I'm not saying the costume is great - I wish they'd have just stuck with the comic book design but I don't think it's end of the world bad that it's going to look like it does in the cell phone pictures.

Absolutely the same thing happened to me
you couldn't have said it better!I mean seriously, I screamed Homer Simpson style when I clicked the link and saw first few pictures :S
I seriously hope those pictures are just BAD LEAKED PICTURES and it all should look much different and better once finished, but somehow I feel, just like it usually happens, that even if they visually correct it all and do it decent, they're still going to screw the story.

The official name of the movie is The Amazing Spider-Man.
So you guys won't worry so much about the eyes.
Also, I love that they used the thin black webbing. It's so much better than the gray 3-D stuff from the Raimi movies. If only they had stuck with the red and blue scheme the comic books used it would have been so much better.
