Anyone else hear of the 4 X Men movies lined up?

I heard about it on... not sure which show, one of the shows on G4TechTV. Either Electric Playground, X Play, or one of them shows.

They say there is a X Men 4 and 5, two sequels from part 3. There is a X Men: First Strike, a prequel revolving around Magneto and Charles Xavier, at least I think it is. And they have a Wolverine 2 coming out.

This usually go to Live Action Protest... but I like the X Men movies, I own a box set of 1 - 3 and Wolverine. I'll likely buy these to.

I need to be Wolverine can't wait for the next X Men movies.

There Alright I like Secenairo's where Govenrment fights superhumans like Fugitives in Heroes ect so the second was my favorite, and Origins.

Third was meh, first was ok. I can't wait for First Class, and the Magneto film as well there bound to be good!

They need one a better Dark Phoenix film, or one about Nate Grey, or Hope one of the mutant messiah's in Marvel, and one of the bigshot opponents like Onslaught or Apocalypse.

I liked X-Men 1 and 2, thought they were both brilliant films. X-Men 3 (aka the Last Stand) was a complete mess. Brett Ratner ruined everything;

- Too much stuff going on. X3 was meant to focus on the Dark Phoenix storyline, but Ratner included a stupid "cure" storyline, so Phoenix ended up just standing around looking slightly evil for half an hour until it was time for her to do something bad again.

- Too many characters that weren't fleshed out. We didn't even learn many names!

- Too many unnescacary (I know thats spelled wrong...) deaths and cures. Major characters were killed off for nothing.

And I don't know if any of you guys have heard the audio commentary on the film; the director and others are complete morons. They were laughing and joking about killing off the characters without a care in the world. And look as they gush and lavish praise on the guy that made the "Juggernaut Bitch" meme that wasn't funny anyway. They even included that line in the film... Ugh...

As for Wolverine, I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed it. They didn't mess uplike the guys involved with X3 did. They worst thing they did in Wolverine was what they did to Deadpool, but that was Fox's doing; Fox even told the director to have a couple of days off and then completely changed and ruined one of his sets without telling him.

As for the future of X-Men movies, I'd definitely get Bryan Singer back to direct a proper X-Men 3. He'd do it just right ya know?

Justin it's not X Men: First Strike. It's X Men First Class focusing on Xavier, and Magneto's early days, and there gonna fight the Hellfire Club.

Wolverine Origins 2 is coming out it's got Wolverine, Mariko, and it's focusing on the Japanese Saga a LAM version of it. Marvel is also doing an anime based on the Japanese saga so that will be interesting.

X Men 4, and 5 are next. Plus you didn't meniton it but there working on a Deadpool film, and a New Mutants Film, plus they MIGIHT do a film involving Gambit.

PLus Thor, and Captain America films are coming out this year praise the lord. XD

UNLESS they do like the comics and actually retcon (or maybe it was planned) the Dark Phoenix into the proper cosmic entity. That'd be awesome

Funny story relating to that last paragraph: Did you know that initially the phoenix and dark phoenix weren't cosmic entities, but the same as the movies? As in Jean's potential. It was only later that they changed it. So technically, if they actually changed things again...it would be fucking fridge brilliance and actually cannon!

First Class will be focusing on Xavier, and Magneto tho, plus the formation of the X Men, so Hellfire club may be Xavier, and Magneot's opponents.

Hmm I can see the Phoenix being a good idea, but not for films. Cosmic Entities don't work in Live action. Look at Galactus they ALWAYS mess them up, pbut a proper Dark Phoenix Arc would be awesome especially if the Shi-Ar were included but most think X Men are just mutants fighitng it out so yeah public rules.

Plus Cyclops, and Xavier are both alive get the X Men 3 DVD, plus Magneot's gonna regain his powers.
