asthma sucks, just like bein allergic to stuff, glad im not either of those. i used to be good at basketball when i was like 8 or 9, then i moved to a suburb where i was the only ethnic lookin person, needless to say i didnt wanna partake in any activities involving anybody but myself, yup, introvert. so i started to suck, but then i started goin to school where the minorities were the majority again, i started playin sports a little more, i think if i ever started to really practice playin basketball i would be really good, cuz anytime i just pick it up im not bad, not great, im alright...

lol I don't know the first thing about karate, and I don't really know anything about the class either....just where the dojo is, lol. I should have matt explain it to me...

i trained karate. My sensei was a FUCKING SERIOUS as hell.

And the belts here go
white - yellow - orange - green - blue - red - brown(2 degrees i think) - black(10 degrees)

i hear that the sensei at the dojo is kinda serious but not mean. Plus I've been best friends with his nephew matt, who works at the dojo, so i assume he'll go easy on me.

DB inspired me to to take martial arts, I choosed Judo.
I am a former Silver medalist in the Junior (it means all white) national Male division. (-90 kilos division).

there are only 3 belts in judo, white, brown and black.
White degrees depend on seniority and skill level. theres no official degrees in white. To to separate us, theres 5 colors (NOT OFFICIAL, ONLY IN OUR CLUB) white (noob, dummy, very low class), yellow (higher than noob, but no longer a dummy) Orange (can manage on his own and can now participate in actual sparring), violet (can now be beaten up, choked to sleep and tortured without holding back), blue (the role model as he is now going to be a brown belter, also regarded as fresh meat by the brown and black belters, may Kami have mercy on his soul)

The brown belts are official as there are registered in the Philippine amatuer Judo association(PAJA). They are are the warrior class. 3 degrees

And the black, well, there are the GODs. 10 Degrees. Only black belters are allowed to participate in the olympics

I managed to reach violet before retiring to pursue my career as an accountant. =)

While we are at it, I was interested in Martial Arts whole my life...and yes DB/Z inspired me many times and I am now into MMA amateurishly...I mean I train by myself, completely out of obligations, sometimes with my friends and such...I have big boxing bag and there I do punches, elbows, kick, knees etc...

Take downs, throws and submissions I practice sometimes with my friends, and some of them are veeery effective even though they kinda look too complicated and useless when you see them for the first time...

...I have amazing pinky finger strength! and that's it. I can't throw a punch to save my life. but seriously, I've had people screaming in pain when I twist one of their fingers with my pinky....lol

the only martial arts i know is kicking boys in the balls
