Art done by Akira Toriyama of Ayumi Hamasaki for the CD?

I was looking at a website, and it had on display these pictures. They are the art of the single True, Ayumi Hamasaki's song and done by Akira Toriyama.

Could this be proof that Toriyama has really sold out? Or he was forced to it?

Thats doesn't seem like Toriyama-samas's work. If i had to guess, thats more of Kubo-sama's style, although still not quite there.
Of course, it may be that Toriyama-sama drew it like that to seem more real, or thats it's just a nasty rumor.

Also that picture looks really weird. Creepy blend of real life and anime. AT has said he doesn't like to draw specific, real things, and I can see why. Any flaws are much more noticeable.

Not so long ago, there was the news that Toriyama was praising the film; but then Luffy confirmed that this was fake. And now we see this, and wonder that maybe he was forced at gun point or something to do this art, that is if he did it.

When has it been said that he met the cast and crew and more that he likes them? If it has been said, it has to be a similar rumor to that of him praising the film. The film really isn't his work, but is ripped off from it.

That doesn't look like Toriyama's work.

If it is, may god have mercy on us all...!

And who is this Greg? From what it seems, he seems to be of the mainstream media and can make up anything and have people believe it. Luffy confirmed us from 2ch in which people actually said that the thing in which Toriyama praise was a lie. And if it was trully a video, maybe it was done as protocol/and/or forced to it. After all Fox and Rupert Murdoch have the money to buy anyone like the pope or the Dalai Lama. Well they haven't bought me.

Why would someone enjoy seeing the rape of their work, specially with his children? For someone who claims to be against the film, you sure like to defend it with Rascacolas in the avatar.

And yes Greg from AP forums did say Toriyama liked the cast. Greg isn't a news media person though. He's just an Otaku and was at that JUMP festival for One Piece but went to see the Dragon Ball activities as well. He said he had a feeling of apathy for the movie.

If Toriyama wants to support the movie because he sold out or because he genuinley likes the cast or is too nice/quiet kind of guy to start drama over the movie, then that sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it. We're doing what we're doing for DB/Z not Toriyama. He may have created DB, but DB belongs to the fans now so it's what we say that counts the most.

It's obvious it was designed the way it was to cover up Chatwin's complete lack of muscles on his hairy caveman chest.

more or less forced...its a thing he lacked as a person working in manga...he just wanted to draw...it happened for when Buu saga was made so it wouldnt surprise me......

actually, if theres no quote directly from mr. toriyama, then it is a rumor. actually, lack of validation is the definition of a rumor, and nowhere online does AT say anything about evolution

also, what is it with u new people? it seems like u hate people for hating this movie, which is weird, cuz it would seem like any db fans would be sympathetic to how we feel
