Our coach is the former assistant coach from Manchester United - Carlos Queirós (he is portuguese).. he turns out to be a disapointment.
Scolari may fail as a person, but the guy put Portugal in the second place in the Euro 2004 (DAMN Greeks..ehehe) and in the fourth place in the last World Cup... he is a good coach.. way better than the current one...
Even if Portugal is able to qualify for the play-offs, i seriously doubt they can win it... they play sooooooooooo bad.. LOL... so good bye South Africa

And... My club is F.C.Porto They are a good team, the Portugal champions!! if its not by Porto no one else could represent Portugal in the Campions League... the other portuguese teams/clubs lose to soon

Yeah, when it comes to Scolari, I can't say nothing bad about his coaching skills, but like you said it- he fails as a person. You were hosting Euro 2004, so I expected a lot from your team and you did make it to the final which is a great achievement. Nobody predicted that the Greeks would come that far, that was a rather interesting surprise. And, hehehe, to be honest I did cheered for them, because they are our good neighbors. But when it comes to football I don't like their style. Heh, I remember hearing that all the media in Portugal have been criticizing it (maybe even a bit too harshly).
People in Portugal are too spoiled. Who cares if you don't win the world cup, qualifying for such competition is also a great achievement. Man, last night you should be in Serbia, the whole country went crazy. People were celebrating on the streets whole night long.

With that I agree, only Porto can stand up to the other great teams.
A sellout is someone who compromises his\hers integrity, morality and principles in exchange for money. I liked Porto a lot, but when I realized that they deliberately lost a game against the last team in your league I stopped liking it. I know that there is a lot of money and politics involved in every sport, but things shouldn't be that obvious (that's one of the reasons I'm not interested in the football scene here). I could also earn a lot of cash if they won, I was just waiting for that game to finish. I guessed correctly all other games on my betting ticket. I know that I broke the first rule of betting when I bet on the first vs. last match, but that game was an easy guess, or at least it should have been.

I agree... but i doubt that we are going to even be able to qualify to the world cup.... and a team with such great players like Portugal, its a bit weird...lol... but it can happen!

I did not had any knowledge about that situation LOL... how do you know that?? I seriously doubt Porto would deliberately lose agaisnt anyone (ok... only if they had already won the championship...lol... in that situation i can believe..ehehee)

Yeah, I was rather surprised to see Denmark first in your group. But like you said- if you have a good team that doesn't automatically mean that you'll pass qualifications. Just look at England, they always brag about having the best football in their country but they haven't won any cup in a long time. Although this team is strong as hell, so we'll see what they'll do in South Africa. I also never thought that we will be first in a group with France. Anyway, Portugal still has a chance to make it.
Yeah, it happened 4 years ago, I think. I don't remember the name of the team Porto played against though. I think that it was already clear that they'll win the championship and I understand that the coach was probably resting some players, but it's hard to lose against the freaking last team in the league without some other factors involved. But it's my fault for even including that match in the bet. I thought that it was a secure win...big mistake.
