Re: Heroes Uprising Discussion Part 2
About the magma control power Shawkun had, here.
justinlynch3 wrote:lol1991 wrote:Guys, here's a quick question for you.
Water
Fire
Air
Earth
Now, taking these elements, here's ALL the possible combos:
Water+Fire=Steam(maybe, give other ideas)
Water+Air=Ice
Water+Earth=Mud, swap etc.(any other ideas are welcome)
Fire+Air=Electricity(fire is know for exciting atoms and electrons. Electricity is excited atoms and electrons releasing energy. That where this comes from)
Fire+Earth=Magma
Air+Earth=Sand (maybe, or dust, but dust is like sand anyways I think...what do you figure?)
And that's it. Now, for one, what do you think of the confirmed ones. As for the others, ideas are appreciated.
Second, where does Metal fit in, if at all? if it doesn't forget it.
And finally, a question to Justin. Shawkun used to have nature manipulation, and magma manipulation. Where did he get the magma manipulation? Was it part of the nature control?
Last, here's the list of filled elements
Earth-Gary
Fire-Troy
Water-Katy
Air-Already have someone planned
Elemental Mixes:
Electricity-Elly
Magma-TBA (free if Justin says the magma control was a part of the nature control)
Ice-Filipe
Sand-Sandman from the old Nightmare Squad
missing 2 of them.
To answer your question Lol, yes it was. Jack's son had more limited power then him, and his most destructive force was magma, along with being able to manipulate nature to some extent such as controlling plants. Jack's power is stronger where as he can manipulate any part of nature from plants, to natural occurring elements (magma, lava, water, earth, whatever else falls under this) and even weather to a degree (such as being able to manipulate wind, or make it rain or whatnot.) He's also been shown to be able to connect with wildlife, to see what they see. It's how he kept constantly tracking Angie for the most part. So even though Shawkun lost the power, there is a character that already exist who's got that same power. In the meantime, if you need that power, you can use it. Not like we haven't had characters controlling the same or similar ability's before.
Speaking of which, I need to bring those two back at some point, I haven't played as them for a long time. (Angie had plasma control as a power, but had little to no knowledge of how to use it.)

Re: Heroes Uprising Discussion Part 2
Thanks Justin.
Anyway, since you were confy with the magma use, wanna control the magma guy? Make someone about 40 years old if you can, cause I already had a pic of him in mind. Wait up:
https://2img.net/h/i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc120/JIDE_2007/10-11.jpg
Guy in the middle is the guy I had in mind for the pic. He's a magma guy from One Piece.
On a side note, instead of mud for Water+Earth, what about wood? Wouldn't that make sense? Someone that can make trees and stuff grom from the ground at will, control them, or turn their bodies to wood and create wood from their bodies.
Steam, I can't think of anything else for it. It seems kinda stupid...but I have no other idea for Fire+Water...
Anyway, that's all for now
Also, here Chu:
Starting Saga
Genesis Arc
Agency Arc
Fugitive Arc
Marvel Saga(point of separation was the revelation we were in the marvel verse)
Soul Tournament Arc
Loki's Attack Arc
Samuel's Return
SXM Saga(point of seperation was the start of Genosha Island and the founding of the mutant school)
Genosha Arc
Demon Invasion Arc
Secrete Wars Arc
Espada Arc
Government Saga(point of separation is when our troubles with the government start)
Civil War Arc
Nightmare Darkness Arc
Legacy Arc
New Hope Arc
New Law Saga (point of separation was when the mutant rights bill was approved)
Daybreak Arc
Predator Invasion Arc
Phoenix Alliance Arc
Current Arc

Yeah I guess so. I'll use him if you want me to.
As for steam, a person with that ability could take a non solid element form much like smoke. Steam is also hot, so it could be used to boil and burn an opponent. If fighting a water user, they might be able to quickly heat the water into steam giving them control of it.

People, major important things to discuss regarding images
I will not, I repeat will NOT go around resizing images. So either resize them yourself, or I delete.
To resize, simply go to the button that's beside the image button. Here's a damned pic so you know:
Then, when you click, you can either upload from your own PC, or puts urls. Either way, re-size to 320 px (for blogs) and then use the link provided...after this post, the delete warning goes into effect. No ex-fucking-cuses

ATTENTION!
Lol, I know you have good intention and all but please. What's with your obsession with re-sizing images? Why on my computer. I CANNOT re-size images. So I can't re-size images. and it's not needed.
So I'll just save my pictures on the storage site.

RAGEQUIT!!
Okay, someone help me out here:
This is the current pic I have of the Iron Man armor:
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/9/98/Invincible_Iron_Man_Vol_1_4_Textless_Dell%27Otto_Variant.jpg
This is a pic of a certain armor he wears, called Extremis. I'll explain about it later, it doesn't matter right now:
http://i.livescience.com/images/ironman.jpg
for good measure additional pics of Extremis with different angles:
http://www.headstatic.com/images/forum/fan/im01_800.jpg
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/2/20/Iron_Man_Vol_4_2_Textless.jpg
Here's the question...is the armor I have now the same as the Extremis?! With all the reflection and the angle, I can't tell, but the armor is the coolest pic of Iron Man I've ever seen...so, a little help pl0x?

A little fyi, I have resized all the huge pictures in the profile topic.
Chu, if your computer is so bad it won't even allow you to use this forums features, then if you got a image that needs to be resized, you can send it to me and I'll do it for you.

Re: Heroes Uprising Discussion Part 2
Contrary to its appearance, most of Stark's armors are not rigid metal suits, like a medieval knight's. His standard armor suit consists of approximately two million grain-of-sand-sized discrete units, which are shaped to have as large a surface as possible to optimize their effectiveness. The basis of the suit's structural integrity is the powerful force field which permeates the armor's "cells," as well as the whole configuration when active. Each of the "cells" is a tiny unit in its own right, contributing energy and computing power to the entire armor; this is also why the suit can remain functional even after having sustained considerable damage. The basic principle of the suit is holistic; each part contains the whole, as it were. When inactive, the entire suit can collapse on the microscopic level, the cells "folding" in on themselves to take up a smaller volume, like a three-dimensional accordion pleat.
While Tony Stark designs every aspect of the armor, the complexity of the design requires that production be entirely automated. Each cell is constructed by using specialized bacteria — the bacteria consume minute amounts of specific metals, arrange themselves on pre-tagged areas on the "chip wafer," then die, leaving a very small amount of iron, or gold, or gallium-arsenide. This method allows great precision in determining the thickness of circuitry.
All the details of the armor's construction listed above are laid out in the Iron Manual. However, some armor which appeared after publication of the Iron Manual may well use entirely different methods of construction.
How the Iron Man armor works in terms of storage
