Oi, I just came up with something

What if Akainu (the magma guy) used to be in the navy, as a high ranking officer, but refused to sign onto the registration act back during the civil war and got kicked out cause he was a mutant.

We could introduce the concept of mutants having been war heroes. Sure, such a powerful mutant in such a field would be know really fast, but then again we never heard of Lex and according to Chu's bio of him he's super famous. Same for Aaron and his company.
What do you say? He wears the old marine cape as nostalgia.

Nothing related to the phoenix force, but the mythological being.

Problem is he'd have a twist.
I like making up guys that can counter our most powerful people (as you may have noticed)

this guy, as a result of being a phoenix, would have secondary mutation of being able to harm people while in their elemental forms. Basically, he'd be able to hit them as if they were in their normal bodies.
his would apply to everyone. Jet, Harry, Troy, Katy, Myself, Elle etc etc....

Chu will probably get where I'm going with this Razz

Isn't it a bit too...I dunno young? How old is Jet?
