Fulll Metal Alchemist Discussion

I love FMA, so much! One of the best anime's in the universe, I used to watch the 2003 anime, but I never finished it once I got my original Dragonball Collection, then moved on to Death Note.

I recently started watching Brotherhood, about a month or two ago. I loved it, I'm reading the manga.

I just finished the part in the anime.

Summary: Hohenheim ripped his stomach open and called on the help from some people, cool flash-back about why he left home. He wants to become normal, Ed/Al still trapped at Brigg's jail, and Raven let Olivia Armstrong join in Father's team, promising her immortality. Kimblee's with Raven, and Scar, Yoki, Marcoh, and the girl with the panda reunited! YEAH! Raven's dead, lol.

Olivia is epic! Mustang is back!

My favorite characters are Mustang, Kimblee, Greed, and Ling Xio. Scar is awesome too, the whole revenge quest, and path to redemption. I miss Ling, now since he' Greed and all.

Father and Hohenheim's stories are pretty interesting, can't wait to learn more.

Can't describe the level of epic!

Kimblee has seperated Al, and Ed. Al is stuck in prison, Winry is helping Ed get automail's for the north's climate. Wrath is showing what he's capable of, and Olivia's men searching for the retcon team. Mustang plans to meet with Olivia to help her, and Lt. Hawkeye figures out Pride's secrete. Kimblee gives Ed a new mission involving finding Scar,Marcoh, and getting rid of briggs. Winry learns she's a hostage and helps out Ed.

Oh man I should so re-watch this someday.

No, watch Brotherhood.

It's much better then the original. It's so good, a lazy dude like me is reading the manga!

I think that people should watch the original first and then Brotherhood.
The reason why FMA became so popular is because of the alchemism concept that wasn't used in this way before. The manga\anime were also very suitable for the commercial expoloatation which equals success.

I love it too... i still do not watched brotherhood but the first one was awesome... and in the final when the main character says Einstein theory was bullshit and that alchemy is the real science, i LOLed so hard... priceless (in some way he was right..eheeh, at least in that universe)! Very good anime!

Actually, you'll find some parallels to the real world. Mostly, we hardly have investigative chemistry, just applicative. People aren't making major chemical breakthroughs anymore. Mostly all areas of knowledge are stagnated except for physics and astronomy

Gluttony is dead..yes Pride "Ate" him. Now the others are screwed, because Pride has his shadows back. Apparently Hohenheim is god like never knew he's immortal, the preview looks tight.

Ed's dad Hohenheim is going up against Pride. Old Man Fu said Hohe was a god, maybe I'll get more info regarding his powers.

That was probably either a mistranslation or bad dialogue from the anime

Fu says in that part that Hoho has a lot of lives inside him and gets freaked out (because the sheer amount is just so much more than the homunculus have, and it was the only thing he'd seen up until then)

Hoho's amount of souls, fyi, is about 500.000. Father has the other half (probably much less now because he uses them much more)

So he's pretty strong. He created a massive earth dome, and surrounded in Pride in TOTAL darkness with AL.

I'm sad Al won't fight in the "Promised Day"< and Ling/Greed has run off to become king of the world.
