well, Guilty Gear Judgement arrived today!

I bought it online for only £9.95 with free shipping! Whats funny is, it was a brand new sealed copy and had the original price tag on it; £34.99!! I'm glad I bought it when I did seeing as how the price quickly went back up to £14.99 plus £1.99 for the shipping on Amazon.co.uk.

It's two games in one too! There's the pure 2D fighting game Guilty Gear X2 and a sidescroller, Guilty Gear Judgement.

I played as Bridget!! The game is fun, but, yeah you guessed it, way too hard. Seems every game I buy now is seriously difficult. The last boss I-No, this lady who uses a guitar, is so overpowered; She turtles everything you do and just hits you with these things that fill up the entire screen and do insane damage to you, even if you are blocking. And this is on the easiest difficulty as well. When you get beaten by two attacks, thats when you know a game is too much. I'm dishearted by the fact that GG is yet another one of those "set the timer to 30 seconds and try to outlast your opponent" games... Characters don't even have endings!! Aside from that, its enjoyable. The gameplay is of course hampered by the PSP's god awful D-Pad though. I really need to get one of the new ones with a fixed D-Pad.

As for the sidescroller, its fun, but also very difficult. I just fought the stage 2 boss and everything on screen was attacking me; I did f**k all damage and lost all my health in under 45 seconds. Wow. Looks like I'll have to pressure my friend into buying this so we can do the co-op mode...

Overall - RENT!!!! Or at least find it for extremely cheap. The difficulty brings the game's score down.
