Heroes Uprising Part 12

*Shawkun calming teleports away, just as he did before. However he is not seen reappearing. Amber is suddenly struck in the stomach. Shawkun reappears visible, then throws Amber to the floor. Shawkun creates a fireball in his hand, and fires at Amber.*

Shawkun: Come on, give me that soul of yours, those lovely powers.

"Amber looks straight at Shawkun with malice in her eyes. She uses her bare hands to smash the fireball away, as her body curses with the black magic"

Amber: The Divine Conduit places the power directly in my body...all I do from there is channel it as I will. The spells I use are just ways to increase the natural output. TAKE ANOTHER!

"The air resonates"

Darkness from twilight, crimson from blood that flows;
buried in the flow of time;
in Thy great name, I pledge myself to darkness!
Those who oppose us shall be destroyed by the power you and I possess! Dragu Slave!

"She fires off the black/red orb of energy straight into Shawkun. However, before it can hit, we hear the usual porting sound as Iliria appears, the Dragu Slave sepll vanishing. Iliria suddenly grabs her head"

Iliria: What the hell...that spell was so condensed I actually felt the impact it caused in the Brimstone Dimension

"Amber sulks at Iliria's appearance"

Amber: Don't you think this is getting to unfair
Iliria: What are you doing here Sorceress Supreme?
Amber: Don't give me that crap!! Where's Black Heart! Bring him here now or I'll level the place, along with the entire fucking lot of you!

"Amber aims another attack, this time not a spell at the members of the Inner Circle"

*Shawkun teleports the 4 of them out of harms way, reappearing and grabbing Amber in a telekinetic hold.*

Shawkun: Black Heart is here at the moment. I'm afraid you've made a wasted trip, Sorceress.

While holding Amber, Shawkun creates and fires a water orb at Amber.*

"Amber overpowers it completely with the dark energy, and without even waving her arms, shields herself from the attacks. She then instantly teleports to Shawkun and stabs him with the Ragna Blade. The second she does so, a huge blast escapes it and shots towards the other end of the room creating a massive gaping hole"

Amber: Shut it...

"She removes the sword, leaving Shawkun with a huge wound. She prepares to slash at him again, when Iliria ports him out of harms way before he can be further harmed"

Iliria: Damn it Amber! He's not here
Amber: You're shielding a dangerous Demon

"She aims the blade at her"

Iliria: Even if you kill me...I wont hand him over. Besides, I don't really care about this, but you're too violent...have you seriously lost your way to the Divine Conduit?

"Amber stares at her with killing intent. The black magic is numbing the pain, and the Seal isn't doing anything at all. In return, her body is slowly corroding to the energy and she's loosing more and more of herself."

Iliria: She wont stop...if she gets fully taken over...whatever she's drawing power from will get loose and then we're all screwed. I very well can't let this happen, but who in pray tell do I warn. If I use any telepathic messages I'll g...wait, there's 2 connections I've never severed that I can use. I can't believe I'm about to do this but...

"Iliria uses her powers and sends out the message"

"Back at the SXM mansion, at the same time, both Marie and Tesla raise her heads at the same time, as Iliria warns them"

Marie: Wa...she never cut the connection!! Damn the bitch, this is just what I need
Rachel: What?
Marie: Nothing...On the off chance she's telling the truth, that backstabbing cunt Tesla probably knows as well. If it is true, Iliria will kill Amber in time, or even Black Heart. And if she doesn't Amber kills us all. I have to tell someone

Tesla: Iliria... so, Amber's losing it all.
Tanya: Tesla... something wrong? You seem a little... distracted.

(fyi Tanya and Tesla had joined up with William and the group. So Sandra and the other few are there if you want her to tell them.)

*Shawkun is seen, he's down and bleeding from the attack, his woulds apparently not healing like they should, but the lack of any souls escaping suggest he's still alive.*

William: is something wrong?

(Have her leave the room. She can't very well tell them she suddenly got a message. Have her go look for Marie)

"Marie leaves the room in a hurry, leaving a drunk Rachel confused"

(Ted and Misery are still there you know. And if you want, you can bring in Jet)

Tesla: No, nothing. If you'll excuse me, I think I'm gonna go find Chu.

*Tesla leaves the room.*

Tesla: Now, where would you be Marie.

*Tesla heads out looking for her.*

*inside.*

Tanya: Alright... that seemed a little odd.

*Ted and Misery both get ready for combat when suddenly shadows rises all around the room, forming into a massive orb and is shot at Amber. Shadows quickly gather beside Iliria, and Jet forms.*

Jet: What the fucks going on down here?

"Amber cuts through the shadows and the attack continues onwards. Iliria makes everyone dodge as the cut slices through another portion of the mansion"

Iliria: Amber's gone ballistic looking for Black Heart. Jet, get those two "points to Anna and Zin" out of here Now that I think about it, this probably proves Anna did walk out on the SXM...or at least Amber thinks she did. She just suddenly showed up here today saying that she was sick and tired of the SXM defending Milo when it was clear he should just get killed...so she asked t join us because we seemed like the ones who would do it. Obviously I will do no such thing but she's a good fighter so why not

"Marie continues to run, and comes across Tesla"

Marie: Oi...did you get the message as well?

Tesla: *nod* Yes. I see she never cut the connection to you.

*Jet shadow ports over to Anna and Zin.*

Jet: Alright you to, lets go.

*He shadow ports the two away from the area.*

"Both of them are out of it when Jet takes them"

Iliria: Alright then...Ted, Misery, get out as well
Misery: What?
Iliria: Just go!

"Iliria forces them to leave with a port and takes Shawkun along. Amber is left alone with Iliria"

Iiria: Alright then...
Amber: I didn't think you cared for those under you
Iliria: They are not under me...they are my equals. As such, I respect them. but I know full well they will just die senselessly to you. And them dying doesn't help me in the slightest now does it? Here I am acting like the goddamn Mother Teresa...fucking hell Tesla, get the SXM because I wont put my skin on the line for this...but if I can kill the Sorceress Supreme and claim self defense...all the better in the long run for me and Black Heart

"Iliria's energy starts to flow and she takes a half demon form. The entire room suddenly ports and is taken to the Brimstone Dimension. Or rather, Iliria brings the Dimension to them. Amber immediately casts a spell for breathing"

Iliria: Come on then...bring it Miss Strange

"Amber readies her sword"

Marie: I'll get her for that. And you're lucky I haven't ratted you out yet...
Tesla: Why didn't you
Marie: If you don't know why, then sod off. We need to get someone to go help them, because we can't do shit
Tesla: Get Milo
Marie: He isn't here...I can only think of Yama being able to do anything vs Amber...or Keeth, but how do we find them...if only we had a way to reach James...

Tesla: Sandra is here, I just left the room with her and a few others.

Marie: Ya reaaally think that's a good idea? If we reveal dat, might as well put ya in...well I guess if 'a go tell them it's alright. Alright, stay here. I'll handle it

"Marie runs towards the sickbay where Sandra and the others are"

Tesla: ... she should work on that speech thing.

*Soon enough Sandra, Tanya, and the others notices when Marie comes in.*

Tanya: Marie... hey what's the hurry?

*Marie quickly explains the situation to them.*

Marie: We need ta call Yamairo right now. He should be able ta get her out of there
Sandra: What's the point? I can go
Marie: But...aren't ya...wait, now that I notice...what happened, to your kid I mean?

Sandra: *looks down for a second* It was um, Milo... well Void controlling Milo. He killed my child. Anyway, more about that later, lets just go and get Amber.

Marie: Wa...what

"Marie suddenly stops, shocked at hearing what Milo has done"

Marie: Milo did...what?
William: Void, not Milo.
Marie: But...he...I...

"Marie sits down"

Marie: Ya know the mansion right? Then go. I'm...fine

Manny: Alright then! Takes us Sandra! We've got work to do!

Sandra: We... you sure about coming, this could be dangerous.

Manny: You're a crew member! And thus I'm doing my job as captain!

"Sandra sighs and teleports them both to outside the mansion. As soon as they get there, they find all the members of the Inner Circle, AVALANCHE and Jet outside. The mansion is sliced on several areas and showing signs of weak structure. Once in a while, a huge explosion can be heard inside"

Manny: Woa...

(Sandra doesn't know about Anna being undercover, only James knows)

Sandra: Sounds like their duking it out in there.

*She takes a looks at the members outside, seeing Anna.*

Sandra: Anna... best address this issue after.

*Sandra activates the phoenix.*

Sandra: You sure your up to this? ... Then lets go.

Manny: Lets kick some...

"Just then, someone gets sent through the walls and out of the mansion, projected through many trees past Sandra and Manny. From the hole made, emerges Amber, still rather unharmed, with the Ragna Blade spell still active"

"The next second, Iliria ports between Sandra and her. She's badly injured in the shoulder and not healing"

Iliria: That goddamn sword is one heck of a black magic spell...time reversal, biological healing, magical healing...it literally cuts through anything.
Amber: You're still standing...damn. Alright then, given that, I'll ask you again. Where, is, Black Heart
Iliria: Bite me bitch!

"Amber sighs and grins and goes for the final attack, when suddenly the sword gets kicked away and Manny puts himself between the two"

(have Sandra follow up)

*Sandra appears by Manny, using a quick, but strong telekinetic burst to knock Amber back where she came from. After hearing what Iliria just said, Sandra doesn't dear take her focus off Amber for a second.*

Sandra: I'm not a fan of you, and certainly not Black Heart. But I can already tell somethings not right here. How'd all this start.

*The phoenix grows around Sandra, as she watches for any sign of attack.*

Iliria: She come here looking for Black Heart. That much I can understand and I wouldn't have called you if it was just that, but she used that spell again, and it's eating at her. Unless you do something whatever she's drawing power from will destroy everything. I'm no saint, but I sure as hell don't want this planet destroyed. So kindly do your job and stop her

"Iliria grabs her wound and gets ready as well"

Iliria: And one more thing...Milo is fixing my mansion after this

"Just then, another slash of the sword comes straight at the three"

*Sandra gets them out of the way, teleporting inside the mansion where she releases a phoenix attack upon Amber.*

"Manny runs into the mansion as well and Iliria sighs. She's about to follow when she stops and grabs her wound with a stronger grip"

Iliria: It's been so long since someone's injured me like this...she's seriously dangerous

"She then ports inside

"Inside, Amber as met Sandra's attack with a swing of the Ragna Blade and both energies are clashing within it. Suddenly Manny appears being Amber with his partial phoenix form and prepares to punch her, when he gets skewered in the shoulder by an energy applied like a spear. Amber prepares to slice him from that point to the waist when he vanishes, ported by an arriving Iliria"

(If you want, you can bring in Jet, Misery and Ted. Sandra's here so they wont get hurt)

Sandra: Amber!! You have to stop what your doing!

*She pushes more energy into her end of the attack. As she does so, she finds herself getting some assistance as the shadows in the area rise, also converging on Amber, as if looking to grab hold of her.*
