Villains Uprising 2.0 - The Reboot.

This rp is based on a alternate reality of Heroes Uprising where the world is in chaos, run by the evil's of the world. Most of the Shadow X Men are now gone. Rules.

1) Ok I wanted to clear up rule 1. You are allowed 1 active hero from HU. If you bring anybody else over, it's preferable they are villain, possibly neutral if we agree upon it. Most of the actual heroes should be new cast however.
2) Villains are welcomed and are more free in terms of power. The point of this rp isn't to raise a group of new heroes by page 2 and save the world, the heroes are on the run, hiding, possibly fighting to survive. The villains has the edge here people.

Story:

Landscape, New York. A city once thriving, now ruins, no more then burnt and broken remains. Streets are dirty, empty, cars remain motionless as all signs of law enforcement, of civilization seems extinct. What has happened to cause this scene, the disappearance of heroes. The one know as Fusion, he was never allowed to reach his full potential and was killed early on when he hardly had any powers. Sandra lasted for a while longer but died along with many other SXM members at the Soul Tournament hosted by Shawkun. Amber started to build her magical powers as the SXM dwindled, but she to met defeat in a faithful battle that seen her banished to another dimension, never to return. As the years dragged on, the SXM staged numerous counter attacks but continued to lose members. They eventually tried to focus all their resources into creating a safe heaven, however even this idea would fail as the heroes was swarmed by all their greatest enemies, who was tiring of their petty resistance. After that final battle, only a hand full of SXM members escaped with their lives. Other hero factions would ultimately fall over time, despite all putting forth great efforts. Soon after that, the human resistance fell, their technology showing surprising results, but again, ultimately failing to bring down the threats.

Now, survivors are in hiding, running. Many stay underground, not wanting to be above ground where they can be easily spotted. Sometimes however, fear of the treats ruling the outside world is overcome for the need for food, to survive. And with that need, this "Underworld" is becoming more of it's own war zone by the day.

Can good rise up from the dark, will new heroes rise and accomplish what could not be done. This, is the story of survival, of a grim world full of hate and fear, this is the story of the few who still has hope, despite all the odds. This is the story, that decide their fate.

*In a dark, somewhat damp room, a familiar figure is seen. Untidy, clothing ripped, scars seen on his exposed skin, we see it was Joe Dark, one of the few who escaped with his life after the villains attack. He's seen eating a open can of cold beans, he sighed seeing what the world had become.*

Joe: Fucking shit hole, that's what it is.

*He said that to himself, leaning against a wall as he continued eating. Some days was a fight just to get food now.*

"Duke was currently running from one of the villains. He was out looking for food when he was spotted. Even though Duke had great speed the villain was keeping up. He started running backwards and then stopped and took off in the opposite direction. Fortunately the villain couldn't stop as fast as Duke and he had lost site of him. He ran away from where the villain was, and to the nearest underground location. Then he stopped and took a normal pace. He walked around and then noticed Joe."

Duke: It's hell isn't it

"Duke said as he pulled out a can. Unfortunately it was spinach."

Duke: I'm strong to the finish cuz I eats me spinnich huh.

"Duke said opening the can Popeye style. Then began nibbling on it"

Duke: So... The names Duke, how about yourself.

*Joe finished his can of beans laying it aside, he looked at Duke, extending a hand to great him.*

Joe: Names Joe Dark.

*They shook hands, it was almost to much to believe, slowly more and more of Earth's defenders had been lost. Worst of all Katy Karma, the women he loved had not made it through the wars that had taken place over the years. People like Shawkun, just thinking of them made his blood boil as he gripped Duke's hand tighter.*

Duke: Hey, are you alright?

*Joe snapped out of it quickly, letting go of Duke's hand. He looked at the kid, he looked familiar.*

Joe: Yes, sorry. Hey kid, Duke was it. You look familiar, you was one of the SXM members wasn't you, before the Assembly's attack.

Duke: Yeah. The only reason I'm still alive is because I can't die. Go figure.

"Duke took a few more bites of spinach and then decided to quit."

Duke: Foods hard to find, want some spinach?

"Though it would be a horrible death, Duke could always just die from starvation and then never have to eat again."

Duke: I can't believe the heroes lost. When I first joined SXM I always looked up to people like Milo and Sandra. Hoping to one day be like them. But... Now they're all dead...

*Joe thought about Duke's words for a second, for his, and everyone's sake, he hope they was dead. If they wasn't and they hadn't bothered to contact the team since SXM went down, they could have a whole new set of problems on their hands. But he needed not worry the kid, they had not been seen since the battle, not a word to speak of.*

Joe: *nod* Since the team lost power it all started going terribly wrong. No more then a handful survived. Since then the world has gone to shit. People always questioned if SXM made things better or worse... I suppose that question has been answered.

"In a room several equipment was seen, and computers were running, several armed agents were running out. Zane Fury was walking through the area, the world had changed, after the Assembly's reign of terror on the world it had been changed forever or the Assembly incident. Many wished they had been there to change it, many had wished they could have been there to change it but things were what they were. He sighed as Marcus entered, sitting down a beer in hand."

Zane: Really drinks, abusing our status.
Marcus: really a few drinks, the whole word's went to shit since the Assembly, fucking bastards Ryan, Osborn, Waller, all thought their anti mutant laws were helping us, fat chance, I was one of those bastards I hated the SXML, wanted superhumans gone, seems like they were the real heroes not us.
Zane: We'll not like we have time to wine, not like my girl's been doing any better ever since that mission with the Hand, I lost everything except this job, and I intend to complete it, we've gone underground, and our only advantage is the world thinks we're dead, only issue now they think Hydra isn't.

"Terry ran through the streets, ever since the Assembly Incident the world had gone to shit, New York was a crime zone, the only authority was Organized Crime, and right now the Compound was waging war against the Big Man, Chinese Triads, the mafia, and more the streets had become a literal war-zone as much so as foreign countries such as Iraq, and Afghanistan. His heart raced as he ran through the streets, nearly tripping on some rocks as he ran into an abandoned convenience store. He used his super hearing to listen for any heart beats, he felt a steady one, the owner of the gas station was slepe. He slipped inside and grabbed a plastic bag grabbing some donuts, iced honey buns, cake donuts, chips, orange slices, sprites, and other snacks to last ihm."

Terry: Gotta love gas stations, one of the few things the Assembly didn't fuck up.

Duke: Yeah... You never see it coming One day things are just fine and we're fighting demons every other day. Then the next... Well yeah...

"It was all really depressing. Duke hadn't met many people who were heroes. He couldn't travel much because of the villains."

"Meanwhile above ground Ben was floating around, scouring the city for anyone. Hero or villain alike. Either one would bring him entertainment, which was all he was looking for. Then he saw someone running out of a gas station. He teleported next to them and simply floated."

Ben: Heya, what are you up to Ahehehe

"Ben said itching for some fun"

*Joe gave a nod before gesturing to follow him. As they started walking throughout the hide out, Joe wanting to show Ben around.*

Joe: As you see we don't have much. Barely enough basics to get by. Hope you don't mind cold showers and no electricity. I search for food daily, me, you, and whoever else had found there way here need something to eat. Lately however people has been getting restless, attacking themselves while I'm out, fighting for food.

*He lead Duke to what could be called a kitchen where a somewhat small group of homeless has gathered.*

Joe: We're open to mutant or human. Sadly your the only other mutant I've seen yet still in this city. Maybe you can earn your stay some Duke, all I ask is that you watch over the people while I'm out, stop them from killing each other. The Assembly has done to much killing as it is.

"Terry backed up pulling out a gun out of his own, the man had gotten past his hearing which was unusual. His senses may have had nothing on Ledge but they were no cake walk when it came to hearing. Holding the Mi6 in his hands he almost dropped his bag of food, instead slinging it around his arm. This person was fast, he wondered what ability they might have or if they were simply a master of stealth."

Terry: Up too trying to survive like everyone else in this dipshit city, trying to find a way out of the only major city the USA abandoned. Guess with all the Apocalypses and shit they finally gave it to let the world do what it wanted with it, don't bother me everything I took there's still plenty in the station and the man in charge is sleep.

"In another area foot steps were seen in the sand, and several men were seen with guns walking around. Infared googles were seen, and they had tasers with anti mugen built in, as well as guns with bullets composed of anti mugen and regular materials. One of them spoke into his radio."

???: This is Agent Riffeld, Banner has been sited, moving through the desert, we've already searched his HQ, he detected us, he made a quick escape with essentials and the BFV, we've confiscated his other essentials, what now General?
Ford: What now, eliminate him, we're coming down with the big guns, the gamma radiation cannons and what not. SO GET OFF YOUR and stop being scared, people die in wars all the time, fuck the Assembly fucked us over, we're not pusssy bitches, New York was a shit hole, and we'll fucking rape Fitrah in the ass but for now GET YOUR ASS UP AND FUCK UP Banner now,so we can fix this shit, this technology from Skaar will help us fix thsi shit, get with the program Sean!
Sean: Understood. "Hangs up" Asshole, alright he wants us to move in, they're sending back up we need to slow him down, sot hey don't miss let's go!

"The Soldiers nodded, a sniper raising his gun firing an anti mugen bullet and it flew forward hitting Banner. A Hulking green giant leaping thousands of feet in the air every time he touched the ground was hit slamming into the ground, as the other agents went to open fire, they heard an inhumane roar. IT caused them intense pain in their ears, as if the beast was tearing apart their vocal cards. The Hulk leaped forward, as they opened fire landing near some soldiers sending them flying on impact, Sean sent flying backwards as he saw choppers int he distance."

???: HULK SMASH HULK SMASH! ALEX MAD!
Sean: FIRE!

"Sean rushed over to his gun, grabbing it and opening fire, as Alex charged him, more soldiers opened fire including with an RPG which Alex grabbed and tossed back into the one who fired it instantly destroying him, as the choppers and a hellicarrier neared the latter having two gamma radiation cannons. Sean raised his own weapon as Alex charged him, and Sean leaped to the side but Alex grabbed him, and Sean put his gun to Alex's head."

Sean: FUCL YOU
Alex: HLUK SMASH
Ford: FIRE!

"With that Sean opened fire, and the Hellicarrier opened fire using the cannons to fire two massive beams of gamma radiation at Alex, while soldiers int he area where told to evac running out of the blast range leaping off the mountain structure they were on as the blast hit, and the entire desert area went up in smoke, blowing sand everywhere as well as dismembered body parts, and blood."

"Dale Parker was seen on a roof top of New York, now a war zone for crime, the town was filled with sins of it's past, and he was just doing his best to survive. A Symbiote come over, a nice package he'd picked up from Fixit during a vigilante assault against it after he revealed it's inner workings, he looked at his hands seeing blood. Then snapping back into reality he realized he was "Daydreaming" again although lately his dozing off induced visions had been anything but dreams, dreams had faded away the day of the Assembly Incident. The Villains reigned supreme, and Manhattan lacked it's former defenders, he shot some webs and swung over to the ruins of the Avengers Tower."

Dale: Stark..Cyber...Nono..Surfer..all of them dead, all of them gone, it's juts me, and you buddy. We have tow inthis war we have to kill them all.
???: YEs, kill kill kill them all, we are Pesticide and we will shall infect them all, they will all bow and perish to us Parker for what they've done to us! Bradley's death was merely the first of many, after Manhattan's collapse, many of his associates
Dale: You're right, we'll kill them all, it's time for a trip to Jersey.

"Dale went over to the sewer, seeing an opening an obvious sign of a bombing. He leaped inside and began climbing through the sewers heading to Jersey."

"Ben teleported down and and in an instant grabbed the gun and threw it away then teleported a few meters in front of Terry"

Ben:I could get gourmet Italian food if I wanted it. Supplies isn't what I'm looking for... Ahehehe... I'm looking for entertainment You see, ever since the heroes fell There's been nothing to do. So. We're going to play a little game.

"Suddenly everywhere around them turns misty. You can't see 5 feet away from your face."

Ben: Of course it's no fun unless someones life is on the line.

"A bomb appeared on the chest of Terry with '30:00' on it for 30 minutes."

Ben: You have 30 minutes to escape the mist... And if you don't, kaboom Ahehehe, time starts.... Now!

"Then Ben just faded away. There was an illusion set up for about a 5 mile perimeter. But the trick was whenever he would turn a corner, or turn around, everyhing would be the same. He would be running around in circles."

Duke: I can do that. But we should switch on and off. I can run over a hundred mph so I can scavenge for food a lot faster. Plus I'm more indestructible. I just have a weak mind.

"Too bad nobody can kill him using their mind. Or haven't yet."

Joe: True you can't die, but you can get captured. At least I have a form of transportation near as good as straight up teleportation. For now, see if you can handle this job.

"Terry groaned he was getting tired of mutants who flaunted their powers especially the assholes that thrived on messing with people. Terry ran forward but quickly realized he was trapped in the mist. Terry closed his eyes and began focusing on his enhanced hearing."

Terry: Don't focus on my sight, the other man in the gas station, his heart beat is fading, he wasn't sleeping he was probably bleeding to death. Focus I hear a kid..A kid..thats it.

"Terry began walking following the kid's heart beat making his way out of the gas station and continuing to walk now heading into a different neighborhood two kids a brother and sister were hiding behind a dumpster from a thug searching for them with a gun in hand."

"Suddenly they saw Dale swinging down in his Pesticide symbiote, he knew Joe always hated the Symbiote as he landed near Joe looking at him and Duke."

Dale: New Recruit?
Pesticide: Oooh more people's to play with, should we kill him Dale, I think we should he looks invincible.
Dale: Naw, he's alright. Joe, anyway the hideout, some supplies, I'm trying to found up some kids, it's an area near that gas station that was attacked by Moses's thugs the other day, can you give me a portal to that area, we're running out of time.

Joe: I remember that area. Damnit, you either get no food, or have food but need to fight for it. Anyway head out, find the kids, I'll be out on a supplies run shortly, encase you return before me. Duke, the new kid here is our peace keeper.

*Joe opened a portal for Dale that will take him to the gas station.*

Joe: Now you and that damn symbiote better get a move on.

"Ben followed close behind watching as Terry walked away. Oddly in a straight line. Then his voice came from what seemed like everywhere"

Ben: Ahehehe. Tick tock tock tock, Did you know that the average human takes over an hour to walk 5 miles. You only have 28 and a half minutes left until you explode. Ahehehe. I'd get running if I were you. Or you'll be in a million pieces! Ahehehe!

Duke: Anyways got it. I'll stay here and keep the peace.

Joe: Good. Your first chance to prove your worth starts now then.

*Joe opened a second portal.*

Joe: If all go's smooth I shouldn't be long.

*Dale and Joe left as both portals closed behind them. Duke looked to the crowd, most seemed to be sleeping, a few playing tic tac toe drawing in the ground. All and all Duke's task is looking pretty easy.*

"Terry looked around seeing the child, he heard their heat beats racing, he could barely see the mist, but heard the thug and rushed forward tackeling him into the wall, the thug moved forward, he leaned to hte side kneeing him in the gut narrowly avoiding the knife which sitll cut at his skin. He punched him in the face, then grabbed him and rushed forward into a brick wall. Then he ran forward just running forward until he hit an suv a few minutes later."

Terry: fuck..shit..fuck I..fuck it FUCK IT! just fucking blow me bastard, I'm not running to shit, my head is spinning. I just can't deal with this.

"Arriving near the kids they saw the thug was down, getting up Dale webbed him to the wall, and saw the two kids scared, dale made the symbiote come off of him."

Dale: It's ok were hte good guys
Boy: Please..please leave, take me not my sis
Dale: Alright just come with us it'll be ok, we're the good guys, I'm Spiderman come on
Girl: NO NO NO NOT AGIAN PLEASe

"Dale felt so bad for the kids. For the whole world to see kids scared of the heroes, he shot webs around the kid, as Joe opened the portal and tossed them through going through meeting up with Duke again."

Dale: this is such a shit hole now.

*Joe had vanished again after bringing Dale back. After several minutes a portal opened up and a bunch of food dropped out, then Joe came through.*

Joe: We was lucky, the store I had found the other day had not been cleared out yet. I wouldn't suspect this place to sustain us much longer though, once someone stumbles upon it, it'll be cleared out within a day.

Ben: Ahehehe, sorry, but it doesn't detonate for another 22 minutes. Plead and beg all you want, but you will live the next 22 minutes of your life knowing you're going to be blown to pieces. Ahehehe.

"Ben laughed as the man he found asked to be blown up. But it wasn't enough. He had to bring up the man's hopes, just so that they would fall even harder"

Ben: I'm making the playing field smaller. You now only have one mile to go to get out. But now I will reward you for escaping. I have food beyond your wildest imagination, a large house, plenty of woman, drugs if you wish, and anything your heart desires. All you have to do, is run one mile in 22 minutes. I'll be waiting on the edge Ahehehe

"With this Ben teleported one mile away and sat mid air waiting for his victim.

*Joe proceeded to port the food into a storage area, he hadn't wanted to worry the new kid, but the fact they hadn't been found out was worrying. People like Shawkun, why had they not tracked down the stragglers. Did they not care, or is something else planned, he wondered if he should gather a new group and strike first, or wait and see what happens.*
