Then the last hing to do is move all the completly random as hell topics to the spam thread (this is gonna be hard).

I'll get started. Or do you guys prefer we delete some of the more silly things. It goes either way with me.

EDIT:Reporting in. Most stuff from the random discussion has been moved. If you feel I missed anything, there were things I didn't know what to do with. Feel free to do something productive with that Mod rank
Moving on the DB discussion.

EDIT 2: Ok so I think I got most complete spam from the DB discussion thread. I think there are other stuff, but I can't really be sure, so I wont do it.

-Lock old threads (It's LOCK, not DELETE)
-A "Fun Stuff" section where everyone could post funny pictures/videos and forum games (NOT SPAM) there

You can post that kind of stuff either in the spam thread, in the "funny stuff" discussion, or if it's your work, in the "show your word" thread.
About the lock thing. I agree, but this is a forum with a lot of mods. We need a general agreement.
Also, since we are in sugestions, we could always devide the mods by each area of the forum. Would look nicer. Example
Sephi is the mod of the roleplay
I mod the general discussion
Nikku the spam thread
Secor the DB discussion
Etc etc etc.
Then we would have the general mods. Only like 2 or 3. They should be the most active, and the MOST RESPONSIBLE. Which would mean no more sensless spaming. Tlaloc would do a fine job. Ningen as well. And now that I think about it so would Sephi. Maybe just those three.
Course, another option would be to remove some mods. ssj4 Goku hasn't logged in for so long. One would assume it's best to remove him.

Finnaly. there was no need to make a new topic for this. There is alreay a management topic. You could have post the suggestion there. Moved, and warned. Look more carefully at this kind of stuff Hawttdawgg.

You just dont get it.

Threads like "Random Stuffs" or "Count to 9000" etc is some kinds of forum games not spam. So we should make a "Fun Stuffs" section.

And why are threads like "Wish me luck" or "Who are you in love with" is in the "Spam section"? Why?? They aren't spam. It's just... like a survey or something.

Mods should lock old threads like this. DTX has already decided what to do, he said "DONE". so there is no point posting in here anymore, because if you do, you're being offtopic.

About the "general moderator" stuffs, i think it should be called "Super Moderators" and they can manage every thread in every section.
For me, Tlaloc, Iceman and Son Goku would be great.

Forum games are for fun, for kids to have fun and to keep this forum alive.
If forum games are considered as spam.. Then remove them all... This "forum" would become a blog, where readers subscribe to the main page and readers can only post comments (like those ones on blogs). And the only thing that's cool bout this "blog" is that users can post news etc...

I don't know what forums you have visited, but I like to compare this one (in terms of organization) with another one I like. And there games belong in the spam section(as it should be). And that forum functions perfectly, I really don't see why is this a problem, I mean, people, please... -_-"

Actually that's a narrowed definition of spam.
We are thinking about a more wide definition of it.

Yea, please, just don't understand it the wrong way, spam topics and replies posted in there don't need to be annoying, irritating...at least I don't consider some of them to be...they can be rather amusing, and they are the most, well let's say, active part of almost every forum.

spam is just a concept of bla bla bla...Ningen is right. Spam is anything that is out of place, out of topic. Like changing a converstion on Bleach into one about Naruto for example. So from now on, guess we have to start acting like mods (dam, I was having fun too).

Yea, but just to stay clear, spam refers to much more than just going off topic. And it doesn't necessarily mean something negative. Topics that are in spam section are not considered to be worthless, actually they are very important for every forum. So, I hope that everything is finally clear now and that we can move on.

Every post that is deleted has been deleted for a purpose. And not that many posts have been deleted... As long as you write meaningful replies in the non-spam sections I don't see a problem. So relax and enjoy. afro

Of course some of the threads you've mentioned does not belong to spam and I perfectly agree but that's why there is a "Discuss about anything" section there! Wink

but that's why you have Fun And Artwork section, right?

And finally here is how I personally separate things on our forum, please let me know if you agree:

1.Most importantly forum should have point and rules - covered by "Purpose and Rules"

2.Introduction so people can introduce - covered by "Introduction"

3.Official stuff, announcements, news and decisions - all covered by "Official Forum Stuff" section!

4.Unofficial stuff about the movie and this forum and free discussion about them - covered by "Discussion about the DB live action movie"

5.Discussion about anything else...something that's not related to DBE and such, showing funny stuff, having fun, talking about anything that may have nothing to do with this forum nor DBE but still not belonging to spam = covered by "Discussion about anything"

6.Your creative works, artworks, fanfics or whatever = all covered by "Show Your Artwork"

7.Roleplaying = covered by Roleplaying

8.Spam = covered by Spam

So I absolutely understand you two, but I assume that its much better to change "Discuss about anything" into "Discuss about anything else and have fun!" or such...?
That way I think we'd blend our opinions perfectly? you agree?
