yeah trix is flavorless and bland, when I was a little girl it was a fruity explosion in your mouth!
Cocoa puffs have stayed the same.
But Cap'n crunch...ahh, that is the shit right there, my friend. Cap'n crunch is one of my top 10 favorite things ever....it ranks higher than shoes O_O

And right now I am stuck with flavorless Corn Flakes by Nestle. I haven't taken a trip to the U.S. since December and buy some cereal, things here in Mexico are very expensive, yet have terrible quality.
An advice, never buy at Soriana stores; specially the old ones.

The better directors thread
I know Vegeta_DTX and some others dont even want a live action movie, but who could be a way better director than Wong da fail?
Here are my top 3 gold level candidates:
Peter Jackson
Enough said, he directed the Lord Of The Rings film trilogy; most people back then didn't even expect it would end up a masterpiece.
Guillermo Del Toro
He can blend fantasy and reality like in Pan's Labrynth, and place a lot of weird fantastic creatures without making it look corny like in the market scene of Hellboy 2.
Zach Snyder
Started out making a good remake of a Romero film, then went to make a cult classic with 300 and now made a (sadly very underappreciated) masterpiece with Watchmen.
The perfect dream director:
Akira Kurosawa
Sadly can't be considered a candidate as he passed away; but if it would had been possible to have him at helm; he would had been the perfect choice as he not only was japanese, but also considered the greatest film director of all time.

Re: Who would had been a beter director for DB live action movie
Asians
1) Stephen Chow: Kung Fu Hustle is the closest thing to DragonBall live action there is, mixes the same absurd humor as toriyama with over the top martial arts, and a lot of anime style melodrama.
2)Andrew Lau: Directed some great Manhua (chinese manga) adaptations, Storm Riders and Man named hero, has a specialty to translate super powered anime style martial arts to live action.
3) Tsui Hark: The Hong Kong Spillberg, specillizes in chinese style fantasy movies, nothing is to fantastic for him.
4) Wong Kar Wai: Existential auteur who has dabled in Kung Fu in his masterpiece Ashes of Time, he would do a weird existential version of Dragonball that would be quite interesting.
Western
1) Robert Rodriguez and/or Quentin Tarantino: They love action, now how to do action, get the comic and anime estetic, work outside the system and do what they want, loyalty to the original author, Rodriguez was almost banned for the directors guild for having Frank Miller co direct Sin City but he had him anyway.
2)Luc Besson: He has a weird european comic sensibility, look at the fifth element, he could make the crazy world of dragonball work in live action, and he loves martial arts too having produced some Jet Li projects and the Transporter 1 movie.
3) The Wachowsky Bros: Ok I think Matrix is way overrated, and I think they are hacks, but at least they truly love anime, I think Speed Racer was not that bad, and come on raise hands all that substituted Goku and Vegeta for Neo and Smith in the final fight of Matrix Revolutions jajajaja

Re: Who would had been a beter director for DB live action movie
Come one guys! Don't be shy! Talk of more directors, and agree or disagree with some of the ones other mention.
For example, I don't think Luc Besson should direct; his style of humor just doesn't fit with Dragon Ball. The Wachosky brothers; I no longer trust them after Matrix 3 was terrible, they had a liberal agenda with V For Vendetta and they ruined Speed Racer. Robert Rodriguez did good in Sin City, but he is a pocho.
Here are the rest of my dream directors, but these could be considered as the silver stable of dream directors as Akira Kurosawa is the gold stable.
Ishiro Honda
Not only was he assistant to Akira Kurosawa, but he also created the king of the monsters; Gojira (Godzilla)! He could had gave excellent FX to Dragon Ball and a deep script.
Kinji Fukasuku
Directed the epic WWII film Tora! Tora! Tora! and his last films were the Battle Royale series. He also directed the videogame Clock Tower 3. He was also very close to Akira Kurosawa.
Ingmar Bergman
He made such masterpieces as The Seventh Seal, Persona and Fanny and Alexander, maybe he could had made great the scenes of Goku in the afterlife.
Stanley Kubrick
He is probably considered among the best film directors in the west ever! He has made films as Clockwork Orange; The Shining; 2001 Space Oddyssey; Dr. Strangelove; Lolita among others. He would had been a great visionary for such a visionary work as Dragon Ball.

I think this topic already exists. I'll try and find it. I'll say here what I've said before. Tim Burton. It would be a bit darker than what we would want, but he would follow the story. And he's a freagin genius.
EDIT: Found it XD
