*Nagato lays his hand on his zanpakuto, preparing to strike at a moments notice.*

"Shari was back in his area, he'd left, he was heading out to Rugonaki, where all the action was at, hoping he didn't run into any trouble, as he arrived in the area, he stuck to the roof tops leaping from tree to tree."

"Suddenly Shari hit the ground, he began getting up, as he saw some humans in Rugonkai dead, three of them, Shari raised his Zanpakuto grabbing it, and mentally cussing"

Shari: Great.I..may have found the captain's killer..but I'm the next target. WHO ARE YOU? COME OUT!
Zouken: Hehe
Shari: NO! CAPTAIN!?
Zoken: "Claps" Very intelligent, you can see quite well in the dark, I'm hoping this will help you in our battle.

"Suddenly Shari felt like he could barely moved, Zouken had realeased his spiritail pressure, but had yet to grab his Zanpakuto, being a master of flash steps he was infront of Shari instantly kicking him, sending him flying forward, he vanished appearing in front of Shari he sent him flying with another kick, there was no panic from anyone in the area."

Zouken: COME ON!? I am not even using my full pressure, here strike me
Shari: YOU MURDERER! EVERYONE HERE IS DEAD! ILL STOP YOU!

"He charged forward, swinging his Zanpakuto downwards, but as it hit the captain, his spiritual pressure was too great, the blade didn't even penetrate Zouken, who grabbed Shari's blade, tossing it aside, and delivering a knee strike to his chain, before grabbing him and tossing him into a building head first, and landing outside the building as it collapsed, using the spiritual pressure to push the rubble against him."

Zouken: Come on let us enjoy the thrills of combat.

"Meanwhile, Sasaki and Feng are locked in combat. It seems that Sasaki may loose, but suddenly, Sasaki's face goes from worried to serious. Changing expressions comes with a change of style. Feng is overwhelmed instantly by the combination of shumpo and swordsmanship one would expect from a captain. Feng suddenly leaves one tiny opening, and Sasaki catches it"

Sasaki: TSUBAME GAESHI!

"The blade is swung three times as if simultaneously, and it appears as if Feng is caught in the attack"

"Meanwhile, before Nagato appears the captain of the 8th division, Hanibaru Ichirou"

Hanibaru: Well well...if it isn't the 9th's 3rd seat...looks like it's two major roles that's gonna need fillin'

"He draws his sword, and attacks instantly with such speed one would not expect from such a physically large man. Nagato blocks, but is blown away"

*Nagato recovers landing on his feet and sliding to a stop, then stands.*

Nagato: Captain Hanibaru Ichirou of the 8th division. So he has betrayed us, why? Hmm, why? What reason do you have for attack us Captain Ichirou?

Hanibaru: Ya don't need to know...that!

"Hanibaru makes another flash step movement and brings his sword down the second he's in front of Nagata. If the slice connects...that's it for the 3rd seat"

"Sasaki is breathing heavily. It seems using that technique wasted a lot of spirit energy. As he prepares to sheath his sword, assuming even a captain can't escape it"

Feng: Soar through the dark skies...

"Several arrows fly through the night sky, Sasaki barely blocking some of them, but being pierced by the others in the shoulder and leg. As he kneels, Captain Feng, now carrying a light gray bow, with intricate patterns and designs, and a arrow holster on his left shoulder, stands before him"

Feng: Ya no Sennyo...impressive, forcing me to release without even releasing yourself. Why are you only 4th seat. Come on then...release your shikai. Maybe you can actually prove a match for my hawk eyes.

"Sasaki looks desperate"

Sasaki: I...wish I could. But that technique...is everything I have. I could attack with kidou up to 60...but you'd kill me before I could finish the incantations. And simple flash steps I doubt are enough...so that's it for.
Feng: What...you can't...
Sasaki: Yes. I'm a captain level swordsman...without my shikai or bankai. So I guess that more or level evens out to the level of a 4th seat

*Nagato's calm nature allowed him not to be taken aback by the quick attack, and respond on a instant to Hanibaru arrival. Instead of jumping back, giving his opponent time for a second attack. Nagato ducks to the left of Hanibaru blade, charging forward, he's about to slice into the captain's midsection.*

Hanibaru: Hadou 31: Shakkahou!

"He uses his free hand and fires a blast of red energy at an unprepared Nagato"

*Nagato is forced to quickly change his stance, barely blocking the blast and getting pushed back by it before reflecting it away.*

Nagato: Hmm.

Hanibaru: Oh...time to kick it up a notch

"As he says, he moves at speeds that Nagato cannot track, and slashes him across the left shoulder, a huge gashing wound appearing"

Hanibaru: Oh? Couldn't even see me anymore? I guess that's what I get for actually moving a but faster

Nagato: Grr. One wouldn't think the man to be so fast... Seems I have no choice then.

*Nagato holds his blade out pointed towards his opponent.*

Nagato: darken thy path, Kage Mushi!!

*The blade darkens, turning into shadows that surround both Nagato's arms, forming a pair of shadow tendrils.*

Nagato: If I'm dying by the hands of a Captain, let it be known I didn't give without a fight.

*Nagato made the first move, attacking with one of the tendrils to try to pierce his opponent.*

"Hanibaru. easily dodges toe first tendril"

Hanibaru: Oh please! Is that it!! Hadou 31, Shakkahou!!

"He fires an even larger version of the previous spell"

*Nagato has time to dodge this one and attacks with another tendril. Again Hanibaru easily dodges. As Nagato repeats the attack several times each is easily dodged. As Hanibaru go's to use his speed to attack Nagato, he's stopped when nearing Nagato. On the ground, a black circle surrounds Nagato, and the shadows hold on to Hanibaru feet.*

Nagato: I can form more then tendrils.

*With Hanibaru seemingly binded in place, Nagato send the single tendril again at Hanibaru*

Hanibaru: No choice then... blast it to pieces, Tenshute

"Suddenly, his blade glows and turns into a pair of golden armored hand weapons that gigantic blades sprouting from the back hand. As the blade starts to glow bright red, he punches the spirit like shadow tendrils and burns right through them"

Hanibaru: Well then 3rd seat...bring it!!

Nagato: So this is some of the 8th squad captains power.

*Still within the dark circle of Nagato's he sends another tendril. As Hanibaru go's to counter, it splits apart into several mini tendrils, staying connected at there base. They all then converge on the captain.*

"The captain grins, and when he punches the air, all the tendrils get blasted and burned. And just as Nagato prepares to attack again, the captain uses his reiatsu to force himself free of the bindings and just punch his gut, igniting it as well, leaving a sering blade wound"

Hanibaru: It's over

"He kicks Nagato away, as the shikai vanishes, the 3rd seat unable to continue the fight after those two attacks"

"Meanwhile, the two fighters, Sasaki and Feng, are themselves about finishes. Sasaki is covered in arrows, on one knee. Feng is still standing with no injuries"

Feng: Game...set ma...what are you doing?
Sasaki: Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring.
Feng: That incantation...oh no you don't!1

"Feng arms another arrow when"...

Sasaki: Bakudo 9, Geki!

"Feng is paralized for just a few seconds"

Feng: Damn it! This can't hold me!
Sasaki: Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! RAIKOUHOU!

"Sasaki puts his hands out and fires a huge blast of yellow lightning like energy at the captain. But just when it looks like it's work"

Feng: Bakudo 88...Danku

"The full powered attack is fully repelled by the barrier. As Sasaki lays in amazement that such a high level kidou could be launched so quickly, his own restrain on Feng subsides and Feng pierces him with mroe arrows, around 6, all missing vital spots on purpose"

Feng: That was some fine last wind...but it's over now...

"Sasaki starts to loose consciousness"

Nagato: So this... is the power of... a captain huh.

"Zouken grins, his blade drawn, staring down at Shari, who clutches his blade, determiantion hin his eyes"

Shari: LIMITLESS WILL! RASEN OU!
Zouken: Oooh flashing lights? "Grins"

"Shari charges forward, surrounded by a light green power, the ground cracking as, he swings his sword down connecting with Zouken's blade, the ground cracks beneath them, and the green aura around Shari grows larger, the blade shifting into a drill like shape, he screams, as the drill begins turning cracking Zouken's blade, the power growing, the drill mvoing faster."

Shari: READY TO LOOSE!?
Zouken: "Smiles" Reflect the surface, Kagami no Kon.

"Suddenly his blade began growing, suddenly a green aura surrounded him, quickly growing larger pushing Shari back easily, the energy forms several blades, launching forward, the image of a drill surrounding Zouken's blade, as he sent forward a massive drill, Shari summoning a drill on a scale far less massive then Zouken's, the drills clashed tearing each up, Zouken forming an either massive drill bringing it down, a massive explosion taking place, several buildings in Rugonkai taken out, Shari is on the ground battered, beaten, and unconscious Zouken looks at him."

Zouken: Once Again..Victory is mine.

"Time passes. Shari slowly regains consciousness. He's on a bed, in a closed room. Sasaki is already up and sitting on his bed. Nagato is still out, his injuries more severe"

Sasaki: Shari! You're up!

"Shari groans leaning up spotting Sasaki, he's worried, was he dead, but wait...did that mean he was in Rugonkai.?"

Shari: Daang..it..what's going on? Sasaki..why's Nagato here?

Sasaki: Guess they took him too. Damn it, this was unexpected. It seems the 3rd Division is behind this, I was attacked by their captain Feng-Sui.

Shari: wait..what..no..your wrong..OR HELL NO! Damn it....Captain Zouken..he attacked me, he killed people..what..if..this is..more then one Captain..what if Captains..are teaming up for something! What if it's just like those stories about that Ryoka boy!?

*Coming around slowly Nagato hears the chatter.*

Nagato: Don't forget... Captain Hanibaru.

*He pushes himself up with some discomfort.*

Nagato: That makes... at least 3.

Sasaki: 3 captains...
Nagata: And that's not all...before Hanibaru attacked me, the Omnitsukidou did as well
Sasaki: So...there's a chance and least 4 captains are in on this
Shari: Wait, but individual members aren't.
Sasaki: The Omnitsukidou aren't like the Gotei. They're completely loyal to their Commander-in-Chief...and that's Captain Kiriko

Nagato: One thing is for sure, if they intended to kill us, none of us would be here right now. I say, we've been put through a test. What for, is something else.
