With Thor and Captain America confirmed, we now have 3 of the 5 original Avengers already introduced.

There's also rumors of an Ant-Man movie, but according to Wikipedia and IMDb

He and his wife Wasp aren't in the new movie.

So basically, they're going with the 3 most well known Avengers (Cap, Iron Man and Thor), they're including Hulk, one of the founders, and leaving out Ant-Man and Wasp (seriously man. Pym and his wife can not catch a break lately)

I'm also interested on how Clint Barton (Hawkeye) who they're including, factors in. As well as the Black Widow (who already made an appearance in Iron Man 2) and War Machine (also appeared in Iron Man 2) factor in

The villain seems to be Loki. At least he's confirmed anyway.

Regardless, I'm absolutely psyched for this. The Avengers have always been one of my favorite super hero teams, and seeing them on the big screen after a decade of X-Men dominance is awesome.

Speaking of X-Men, what the hell happened to the suppose X-Men Origins: Magneto?

I don't know, I fear this project might collapse on its own. Plus, I disliked they didn't kept Norton as Banner.

And as for the Magneto movie. Let's hope it never happens plus it seems to be canned; specially with this new movie making no sense whatsoever.

Huh... anyways, about the upcoming X-Men movies; Origins Magneto seems to be cancelled, at least for the time being. They're already filming Origins Wolverine 2 (its set in Japan!), X-Men First Class has Bryan Singer on board, but not as a director and that's nearing completion. Ryan Reynolds has confirmed a Deadpool movie, but based more closely on the comic book version of Wadey Wilson. But first Ryan has to complete Green Lantern!

They didn't keep Norton has Hulk because negotiations broke down between him and the studio: In short, they didn't pay him enough money.

As for the X-Men thing...man I wish they'd just reboot the entire series. Instead of going around rebooting Spiderman and what not, there's that one.

Start all over again, with the RIGHT team, Angel, Iceman, Beast, Cyclops and Marvel Girl
Heck it'd count as an Origin Movie.

Plus, what they ALSO need to do is tie all of these movies together to make it clear they are technically happening in the same effing universe

I'd go for an X Men reboot, but first do the Magneto Prequel, and use that to go directly into the Origin story, so it'll make more sense.

The Spiderman Reboot has the Lizard, that's gonna be lame. They should do a sequel, maybe a few years, bring in something new, like Spiderman's blood as a cure for cancer, tie it into Lizard, and maybe Norman wanting revenge like in the comics.

I'm excited for all the Marvel movies, and DC films Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern.
